I can't believe I'm going to get Hoth Leia before my Yunsil Princess gown from 2 Christmas' ago.

It’s taken so long for that gown that I’ve already sold that figure altogether!

Since I’m only getting one version of each character now, I just want my favorite Leia look. This one.

And it will take place mid february in 2018 i believe. Still a full month for Leia to be released and shipped overseas. Could work.

I'd pull the trigger if I were you. When Carrie died the ANH figure sold out pretty much instantly, because people knew they could profit from it, same could happen to this and then you're looking at sky high prices on ebay.

This figure was a no brainer for me personally, easily my favourite look for Leia.

I agree completely. I'm actually not that big of a fan of the ANH look but the Hoth figure was an instant order for me. I'm the same with Farmboy Luke... Not overly keen on the look and just looking forward to HT doing a Hoth version of him to go with my Snowspeeder version.

Same with me too. Not crazy about her ANH look even though it's iconic. But I LOVE the ESB look. Although I really wish they would have included an alternate hair sculpt and shoes to give her the Bespin escape look.

I wish loontentoys and wzlucky had Paypal Credit available. I just don't want to see -£1100 after pre-ordering a bunch of figures from them. So I went for SS because I can do payment plans.

Hoth Leia is the only figure I have on preorder in 2018, nothing after that meaning “retirement” form 1/6 might be on the horizon. Personally I feel there is a decline in HT offerings (cardboard stand covers, lack of alternate heads Doc & Anakin) and quality (Ripley) with high prices. I preordered from BBTS, I will wait till Asian images and reviews start dripping I to decide if I want her or cancel. In the end this will end up being a $300 CAN figure and do I really want to spend that much?

Even Hoth Leia is a “why not” purchase. My game plan is to maybe sell my Ripley and replace her spot on the shelf with Hoth Leia. Honestly trying to post Ripley for the price of $300 CAN on craigslist makes me want to throw up. That’s’ ****ing expensive!! To think that’s what I spent!! A alternative to thinking your “priced out of the market” is thinking these are not worth the price anymore.

Very true. Sorry Ripley isn't what you hoped. I'll have to swing by that thread and read about it.

Yeah, I only have a few figures (like literally 3 or so) left on my list that are must have at any price. It does feel kinda good to have an endgame and an exit strategy in all this. Anything else I get is just gravy, and I'm more than willing to wait to stumble across a deal on ebay.

I watched it again Tuesday of last week and pulled the trigger on her as I was watching it. Like others stated, if you're even contemplating getting it or think you might want it in the future, then get it now while it's still at retail. This look seems to be her most sought after look, so I don't imagine this will go for cheap on the secondary.

I’m not as deep into this as half of you fine gentlemen... but I’m thankful I have a clear path of what I’d like to be able to call it a day. Hoth Han & Luke to accompany this figure, a Biker Scout and probably ESB Fett. There’s a couple of side figures such as Hoth Trooper Commander and the Death Star Trooper but once my OT Imperials are done I’ll be happy. I’m really hoping HT don’t wait too long before giving Luke & Han in Hoth gear a go. I think I’d sell my smuggler Han and replace it with Bespin Han if that ever came about.

I know what you mean. I also don’t like to pay in advance, but Sideshow is no option for me cause of the shipping costs snd the custom fees. And normaly I don’t pre-order but I fear that she will sell out.

Ditto. I've almost broken down and bought the ANH version (at inflated prices) since it's the iconic look, but I'm a sucker for the Bespin escape look (a tiny part of me is holding out for a separate Toy Fair exclusive release).

Like you and Bo Shrek, I can see the end of my 1/6 collecting. I have one must-have preorder on the horizon (plus this figure), and after that, I think I'm done.

I can definitely see myself slowing down. Some of its rising costs, but also a lack of space. With my OT Star Wars wants pretty much taken care of after Leia, ROTJ Luke and maybe Tarkin, it'll be down mostly to new SW releases and the occasional Marvel hero when they introduce new ones.
