Pre-ordered. Hoping now that we get a Harley in her red and black costume announcement soon. Plus--dare I hope for a Ratcatcher 2?

This is so cool, still waiting for Nightwing but I'm happy this is up and hopefully the orders are strong for him.

Does this figure include a stand? it doesn’t seem like it from the pictures or description.
Doesn't need one.

Regardless of needing one or not I still like to have a base for display purposes. Especially if it would be some simple diorama or something considering that he has basically no accessories. Granted they’re making up for it with a lower price, but still.

I guess if Hot Toys isn’t including one I’ll get a custom one.

A guy here makes all types in the Buy section.

Yeah. I know Coco makes a lot of bases. Just surprised that a base wouldn’t be included by default as I’m pretty sure other Power Pose figures included them. Granted King Shark has a large footprint, and is built where he doesn’t necessarily need one.

HT even gave their Power Droid a base to match the Jawa. Even so that set was over priced.

In this case I think they've made him as bare bones as possible to keep the price down - hence ditching the prison shorts.

For dogs (and hyenas) I've raised their height to the level of the bases they're displayed with by making simple platforms from black lego, topped with smooth tiles.

My other go to material is MDF if I want something more elaborate, as for the upcoming Ahsoka deluxe which doesn't come with the courtyard duel base.

For King Shark it's not so simple because I don't know what size it needs to be yet. I thought about making a jungle base with plants plugged into it, but then if he's going with the original Squad he'll be a 'street shark'.

YES!!!!! SHARKEY SHARK SHARK SHARK!!!!

Justin on his YT vid tonight said he gives this a 10% chance of being made. LOL!
Oh wow youtubers not knowing anything yet again... color me shocked.

Anyways, wow, what a steal on this guy! $235? I was preparing for $350+ MINIMUM.

:gah: I need it!

He's already taller than most 1/6 figures, a normal stand won't accommodate him anyway

I like to have my figures standing at the same level to show off their various heights, so a taller character without a base is diminished by those around him on the stands.

HT gave a base to the Power Droid, to bring him up to the same level as the Jawa, and also gave him the same cheap plastic sand cover, but without the hole for the upright support. That's all Nanaue needs, and if this had been a fully posable figure at a higher price HT probably would've sculpted a base for him to stand on.

Or a block with a cheap plastic Jawa style cover ( :yuck ).

They got the price down by dispensing with a base, and his change of clothes, but a base is an easy thing to do yourself.

@dominishin You either missed a quote or posted in the wrong thread.

Just saw the UK group price and it was quite a bit higher than OneSixthKit or KGH, so I used $220 in RPs and ordered him from Sideshow.

I'll probably regret using points on a non-exclusive figure. Just hope all future exclusives continue to be as inconsequential as the holographic figures and ships with Star Wars releases. lol
