bat1975, sorry to hear abt ur mishap. it really sucks when something like that happens.
i'm also kinda paranoid when handling my batpod. i ALWAYS carry it with both hands and make sure there's nothing in my vicinity that could cause me to drop or smash it. as someone said, these aren't toys per se. not anymore, at this price point and this level of craftsmanship. they're works of art and thus should be treated as such. look at how art museums guard their stuff!
good luck with fixing the lights. maybe it's just loose or disconnected wiring. unless the led bulbs themselves have been damaged, u should be able to re-connect the wires. but i'm just guessing...
