I didn't even notice he said that was for the Tumbler. the batpod is scheduled for the 11th though.

If forbiddenplanet ship mine on one go, thats currently marked as the 15th. Thats just short of £700 for both Pod and Tumbler

I was hoping to get the Pod one month, and the tumbler another month or two later on.

Think you got your wires crossed. Batpod will be released March 11, Tumbler will come out May 27. This is off the latest DC Direct shipping update. But don't hold your breath, DC is know for pushing release dates back. Batpod was first due Feb 25.

Why risk of ruinning a $400 product? Better find someone who can make a custom "outer shell" for your tumbler and paint it the way you like.
