quick question guys.
It probably mentions this a million times in this thread but was there any major differences in wave 1 and 2 ?.
I missed all the info since I wasn't going to buy this guy until I pulled my takara apart.
Sorry for being an uber noober ( word of the day ).

Word was the skin tone was slightly lighter and a thinner cape that supposedly fell better. It was never confirmed though. Just speculation. :)

A shame, a-dev.

so there's a 2nd version of this batman?

There's been word the second production run features a variation on the skin tones. This is not uncommon with Hot Toys when they do multiple runs of a figure. Their first Jack Sparrow came out significantly darker on some figures out of the second run.

Yeah I thought that was only for TDK version not that BB version?

I've yet to see unquestionable evidence that there really are 2 significantly different versions.

Hi y'all, as promised, my Batman... I have this item for only a month and already I'm seeing blemishes on the left chest piece and left abdomen armor.. <sigh>..... Does anyone know how to heal them? Or at least a solution to prevent the rubber from rotting in the near future?

i emailed hot toys about the 2nd wave of the TDK figure and they replied and said there is no such thing so lets put that to bed now

Well, it's obvious that they said that. I bet they're thinking why risk receiving hate mails from the angry fans who got the 1st wave.

I just spoke with a collector yesterday who have both the first and later batch of TDK bats and there is no difference. They are exactly the same. I hope this issue can be put to rest now.

yeah that was what i thought all along, specially with this figure. If someone saw a different coloured figure its because of the dust,if you see a figure that has been displayed for a month, and a new in box figure you see a difference, the dust is a ^^^^er on rubber.

Just got mine from ebay. Pictures DO NOT do this justice. It's the first Hot Toys I've gotten in hand and other 1/6 comapnies might as well just stop.

Hey all, I really like this figure I think I like it more than the Dark knight figure. Anyway, we've heard a lot about the DK suited figure's oversixed chest, but not much about the flat chested BB suited figure.

Basically always loved the figure and sold by Takara figure for it. Aso thought I always thought the Takara's chest always looked the best out of any of the figures are on the market.

Now this arvo, I watching the Dark Knight special features on the Blu-Ray and I was looking at the feature about the batsuit, there was a lot of footag of the BB sit and I was thing about how the new figure didn't have the same size about it as the real suit. So I had the idea to stuff cotton buds down the neck hole to get that extra size I felt the figure was lacking... So here is the result. FYI; I used a cotton bud stick to push it down his front.

Here is the results:

great idea with the cotton buds, Grange Wallis. The problem with mine is that the rubber has started to deteriorate. Now I see more and more blemishes on it :(

Wait, why are you stuffing his breasts? it looks fine as is..perfectly fine.

You can use the car kit lotion usually for shining and moisturizing the dashboard or tyres. I've used that for my rubber suit and face no problem on the rubber.

Depends on what types you used tho, if its spray type, then you can directly spray it into the suit and wipe it with a soft sponge or cloth. If its in concentrated form, dillute one part with 4 parts of water. Then wipe it on the figure with sponge or cloth. That should do the trick :)
