That german soldier there, that looks to be an MP40, not sure if accurate, not a bad piece but
also, you got the dvd, awesome :D comes out here tomorrow, cant wait, bluray for me :)

Hi, I just got my HT Joker. Is it ok to iron the overcoat? cause it has a fold in the back that I don´t see in other pics. Is it supposed to be like that?

oh my coat has that same fold
kinda wondering if i should iron it too
i just don't know what would be a safe approach
some people told me to get a towel/cloth and put it between the coat and the iron and have the iron on a low heat setting
and don't go over the buttons or else they'll melt

oh and about all that button controversy here XD
Joker loses the buttons in the interrogation room
i'm guessing when Batman pulled him by the collars either the first time from the chair
or the second time from the floor

notice how he has only the two bottom ones
kinda makes it look like his vest has a saggy chest

Well I took the risk, and iron the coat with all the precautions mentioned before. The fold didn´t dissapear but it's less noticeable and the coat looks better. Anyways it doesn´t bother me that much, in fact it looks kind of natural now.

Just got my Joker and I was prepping for him for the Bank Robber head when I noticed no socks. I then looked under the pants and saw the sock material which I pulled down. One quick question about the socks. Are the supposed to just be pulled down and not actual socks? Sorry if its a stupid question but seeing the torn material scared me at first.

yea u just pull them down till they look like socks they dont actully go all the way over his foot, the just cover his shin really

I had to sew the inner side of the overcoat in the right shoulder 'cause it started to unstitch. (Sorry for my english, it's not my native language)

No, It happened before I ironed it. Maybe I forced it to much, now I'm more careful.
It's my first HT figure and I didn't get the best first impresion 'cause it came with some defects. But in spite of that, I've enjoyed so much this figure that I think its worth the price. Maybe next week I'll receive the Bank Robber version and the Batman Dark Knigth costume version.

yep .. some of us have had it for quite a few months. This is the first Joker thread though. Do you mean the bank robber ?.

Oh btw , I got rid of the velcro on my hot toy joker figures vest and put two buttons on the bottom and top instead since it kept opening and looked kind of wrecked. The velcro on mine was really screwed. Once I get a custom shirt ( and maybe tie ) I'm all done except for waiting for Les's Joker head. I'll get some photos of the buttons later. It doesn't look as great when its opened but when shut it looks tighter and will actually stay shut. I simply picked the stitching out of the velcro on either side then glued buttons on each side.

I've been thinking of doing this for a while. Did you use little 'popper' buttons?
