Sweeeeeeet! I got mine up on the shelf the other day after having it sitting in 'pile of loot' limbo for an age. This baby is the bomb, but I am nervous about posing it as I don't know how sturdy this figure really is. On Alex's Toy Haven review of this figure he posted a picture of an instruction sheet that came with his box, showing how the arms and legs should be posed to avoid damaging the figure. This sheet didn't come with mine, did anyone else get this?

taped to the back of the tray?

THe cape of leonidas started bleeding on him. I figured just hand wash it with liquid soap and now the cape is softer, easier to pose, and all the excess dye have been removed. the downside to this is it takes away that glossy/silky look on the cape (which for me looks better without).

On another note, has anyone noticed small tears (hardly noticeable if you don't look at it thoroughly) on the armpits of leo?

Thanks for the heads up on the cape. I was going to pose him with a spare cape I've got coming in the post - first thing I'll do is wash it. Mine doesn't have tears, but I would expect these to develop either sooner or later just given the nature of the material. I just can't keep my hands off every figure I get, so I guess I'll be seeing these tears pop up before long.

@robbie - no sheet anywhere, did everyone else get the instructions in the box but me?

I was afraid the leather scabbard might bleed on his left thigh so i cut a strip of the not-so-sticky plastic sheet (the one that came in the box) and placed it in between the thigh and scabbard.
Now i have to worry about the cape!

So what happened to your body?
Were you able to get the red stain come off the body?
Where did the bleeding happen? The shoulders? arms? back?

well there were stains but vaguely noticeable. I don't think it's possible to remove the dye on the body without damaging the rubber or the paint app.

The bleeding starts where the cape makes contact on a particular body part. Most common parts are the chest, upper back, shoulders
and neck. Although i know of some people who don't have any issues with the cape bleeding, but it's always better to check it out

Bringing this thread back. It seems to be available on Gohastings.com. Just placed the order using a coupon code I found that expires today the 17th. The code is: ACT20 With the code it brings Leo down to $120 plus shipping.

I didn't like the way Hot Toys made Leonidas with minimal battle damage. It might look like I went too far with some of it, but I'm extremely happy with the way it came out. I still have to dirty up the body and darken the cape.
