Leonidas is indeed a brilliant figure.
I was wondering, how has he been holding up? Is the body doing fine? That was always my major concern with the figure.

Probably too early to tell. Mine is in perfect condition anyway. But I only posed him once, and he's been in that pose ever since.

I had really no interest in Blade, but he looks pretty good there.

Batman's pose/futzing is killing me though, lol.

I would definitely remove the hooks from the stand, because the metal bars will cause an imprint on the side of his leg if you leave him on the stand too long. Even if he is standing straight, the rubber material of the leg seems to mold to whatever is touching it

Yeah, i noticed that. Not that the hooks have molded it, but i had him in a slight crouch pose, and now his lederhosen have left a mark on his left thigh :/

edit: This is my pose that made the mark on the thigh.

I just noticed that his left thigh has a little bump from the protective cap on the hooks. I'm a bit disappointed, Hot toys should not include a base that is a danger to the figure, I now that this type of base is standard on new figures, but still.....

I think you guys have the bars up too high. I have mine in a position that will catch him if he tilts forward or backward.
I don't think you need it pressed against the leg so much. Just pull the stand up high enough to catch any potential falls but away from the flesh.

I have all my figures tied to a small eye-hook in the wall with fishing line, so no stands for me :)

I had a bit of a play with King Leo last night, and for the first time since I got him I had a go and bending the arms at the elbow. The lack of a ratchety sort of joint made it difficult to determine how far I could go with the pose.

Has anyone done a fair bit of posing with this figure?

Thats a great idea!never heard of anyone doing that before ..but i will stick with the stands ..i like the characters name being displayed underneath.

Yeh, looks more 'museum' or pro-like with the stands, more amateurish without - but I like being able to unhook the line, pick the figs up and twist them into a new pose without worrying about adjusting stands. I just can't keep my hands off my dollies :lol

The few figs i hardly touch in my collection are the ones that have got the "perfect" pose ..sometimes it takes a while to find it but the sooner i get it the safer my fig will be.
I have barely touched my salvation and ironman figs ..nor do i have any plan to repose my mjbad or dx bats ..the rest of my collection however i'm always fiddiling with:lol.

I played around with two of my favorite 1:6th figures (currently):

Too bad I can't leave it as is, what with the rubber skin and all :)
