i did t-800 arnie's shirt that way without removing the head, i was hoping the same could be done with leonidas,
i have ordered an extra cape for leo, and plan to wash it a few times ,to get rid of any excess dye, andput it on leo, thus leaving his original cape untouched ,sealed in thebox

Extra cape is a great idea, got mine from ebay. Washing it fades it some, but the original stays minty and the figure itself won't stain. Thanks for the heads up, freaks.

Most likely in time the fragile rubber will rot, but when handled carefully it can last longer than feared I think.

And even for a short period of time, this is such a special figure to miss.

I love it, and the roaring sculpt is the max!

Buy it, relax and enjoy.

BTW what would be the safest way to fixate the paint on his cape?

Man I ordered on the 16th and it has been a pending charge until today when it dropped off.....my order still says "in progress" Thats not a good sign. I ordered the Batman Dx and the Bank Robber Joker from them and they shipped pretty fast. If this one doesnt go through should I get the Battle Damaged Ironman M3 Ironman or Aldo?

GOHastings are out of their sweet deals, but what were they a couple of weeks back - something like $120 shipped or thereabouts? I paid $150 for mine + shipping, which was about standard at the time. And I came too late to the figure to pick it up for less than 120 from an Asian distributor. But I am not fussed, this is a great figure and worth every penny of its 150. It's probably too early to tell exactly what the demand is for King Leo, so if you want him now I guess you take a chance on paying more than if you wait a while. But the opposite could also be true... if it were me I'd pay up to $170 for him without blinking, but to some here that might make me a sucker?

I too missed out on the Hastings deal for him and the T-800 was waiting for payday then payday came but they were already out.

yeah i read at OSW that they oversold again like they often do. didn't know how many they had available at their stores yet left 'em up to order

That happened to me when I ordered a SS palpatine/sidious 2pack. They didn't cancel my order, they just put it on hold until they found one after about a month of waiting but the box was beat up horribly so I had to buy a box off eBay.

Their prices are good at times but their business practices are hardly ever good
