Interestingly, the Parthenon replaced another temple that was destroyed at the same time the Battle of Thermopylae took place, in 480 BC. On the flutes carved into the Parthenon columns, one of the functions these served intentionally or not, was it allowed pilgrims who hiked up the Acropolis to cool their backs by leaning in the flutings; this I learned when I helped my son and his jr. high group build a model of the Parthenon.

The Pantheon is is pretty good nick, so this diorama is likely supposed to be The Parthenon. Plus the Parthenon is an example of Doric architecture, while the Pantheon is Corinthian. The Pantheon's columns are smooth, not fluted. This is not picky, this is basic history and Triad should've cared about getting this right. And yeah, as has been pointed out... a Spartan hanging out in the ruins of the Parthenon? Pass.

Where are you guys finding these? Can they still be had at decent prices?

Along with my T-800 I just got Leonidas tonight and I'm blown away by how cool this figure is!
It is a bit daunting to handle at first, not really knowing how far the articulation moves, but it looks magnificent.
Very happy I decided to jump on the opportunity to get one.
Frigging epic!

I'm from Australia. Not sure if they have anymore tho. Can ask if you're interested but shipping will cost you.

im getting one of these soon
and i just read through the thread a little bit.
so the only issues with this are the rubber body being posed in dramatic poses for too long and the red cape staining the rubber body?
the red cape thing, what is the solution to this?

Ive had my cape on my figure since it was released with now staining. It does leave little red fuss some times that can be mistaken for color transfer but that its. I did have a stiff shoulder joint that took some care in breaking loose but other then that aces. Also be careful posing because its painted rubber and the paint can rub off if you handle it too rough.

There were a few in the beginning that had a stuck shoulder. I got lucky because unfortunately some of the members here had the same problem and were a little to quick to put pressure on it and they broke the joint. I read about it and another member had the same issue and they worked it out with slow movements until the joint freed up. I followed suit and it worked out fine. It was just a few and I haven't heard much about it since.

I went over the cape with a lint roller several times and then add some fabric tape around the collar and shoulders. I also put some clear tape on the side of the sword sheath cause people said it was sticking to his leg.

Also remember to remove the hooks from the stand, to avoid them denting the side of the leg if anything presses against the rubber too long
