I like it. I don't have the first one so I'm definitely getting this. I do like the pants on the first one but this comes with an extra head and a power pose torso.

I really do not understand all the hate for the pants. I agree the ripped shorts are more iconic. I completely get that, but these shorts make way more sense to me. Plus, they'll be featured prominently in AOU. Not sure what you were expecting. HT will use the shorts the movie used. Pretty simple logic that I'm amazed so many people are missing.

I'll be picking up this bad boy. If the deluxe edition is in a reasonable price range, I'll definitely pick that version up. Another great job by Hot Toys.

TWO NEW HEAD SCULPTS! TWO NEW HEAD SCULPTS!!!

Why this Hot Toys figure is a huge leap forward for the 1:6 hobby.

A lot of people that see 1:6 as "dolls" that aren't as artistic as statues would complain that depending on the pose, the anatomy isn't correct in an articulated figure. With a statue the artist can sculpt the anatomy to fit a specific pose. If you were to take the original Hulk figure and pose his arms raised up and slightly back the chest and abdominal muscles don't move and the pose looks "off." Now we have the best of both worlds - a classic pose that seems to have major significance in the film, (perhaps fighting the Hulkbuster?), but also a fully articulated figure. People complain about PERS that isn't executed properly, but if done well it can add loads of personality to a headsculpt.

As for the shorts - that's what he wears in the film - would you have the figure not be film accurate? I'm assuming that in the movie world these shorts grow or shrink as Banner changes. If I were Banner I'd be going for expandable shorts too - probably saves a fortune in wardrobe costs.

People need to relax a bit. The original Hulk was a lot different from the prototype...

I like the smashing pose. Don't care for either new sculpt. Customize it with the ragged pants and head sculpt of the first figure and that'd be awesome. I already have the first Hulk so I'm not gonna spend another $400+ but combining the two figures would be great.

IF $299 for regular version, I'm in. Apparently people like to ignore "Prototype Shown, Final product may be slightly different." which is stated on every photo. Shorts color could still change or there could actually be two in the movie. Who the hell knows at this point. Plenty of time between now and release.

Although I do agree that Hulk with torn pants is the iconic look.

I don't collect Marvel, but this thing is wicked cool! :clap

It's awesome that they're including a separate torso section in a pose you couldn't achieve with regular articulation.

this Hulk is great for those who don't have one...BUT version 1 Hulk still blows this version away....Iconic ripped pants vs tight spandex pants:lol
