Even if you could get the pose (and I think you're right and you can't), it would be really unflattering on the articulated figure due to the shoulder joints. Also, think having the elbows continually strained like that might eventually damage the rubber. Think having it all molded like they did was a great idea.

I'm pretty much convinced we'll get another version with the dark/avengers logo pants. Perhaps with the red eyes even and/or another Banner figure.

It's the numerous "spiked" parts too, it didn't look like he had that many "spikes" in the trailers/promo pics but I'm not sure. Still tempted... haha Waiting on HB price. I would probably only get him to pose with HB if I decide to go all in on the AoU HT set.

+1, I'm still holding out for the darker shorts. If HT doesn't release one then so be it, I can be patient with Hulk. Another possibility is they could re-sculpt Ruffalo's Banner and release that in a 2-pack with Hulk wearing the darker shorts, certainly another way for HT to milk us.

I can't see another hulk for this license. Not anytime soon anyway. With the amount of figures coming it seems unlikely. Already two versions. With three figures essentially. From a business stand point it wouldn't make a ton of sense. I could see an accessory pack like the stark stuff. Maybe another head and shorts with some other stuff. Or do a banner with added head. I just don't see them making a third hulk from one film, when they have multiple 350+ dollar figures, and 10 total (at least) figures from one film. With a JL move coming, a JP movie, a new Terminator and alien movie coming, a new xmen, F4, and those are just the group flicks. Not counting rebooted spiderman, and all the individual movies (black Adam, dr strange, ant man, another thor, Aquaman, ect).

Any things possible. Just seems very unlikely.

You do realize we're talking about HT here right? Multiple Ironmen, Batmen, Wolverines, and 2 releases for the Hulk from the 1st Avengers? From a business stand point they would want a further ROI for tooling that big body of Hulk's. They surely can't use it for any other figs. The fact that there is another version of the AoU Hulk is pretty much as close as a guarantee another one is coming. To not "milk" it would be unusual move from HT from my POV.

Who wants to get 2 Hulks because they are wearing different shorts? I mean it is possible that they will release just a regular version that you could switch out the torso with this deluxe version. It just seems a bit pointless because either way most people are not going to want both Hulks, so there will be plenty of one of them remaining on the shelves. Just make him with the shorts that are most prominent in the film and be done with it.

Good take. This line is deep enough as is.

We MAY get a full BD Mark XLV. But I don't think we'll be getting multiples of other members of the team, including the Hulk.

Yea u can...someone posted a pic earlier of it separated. Now if this new one separates in a special (different) way is yet to be seen

Yes multiples. But outside of iron man, which is the top selling figure and is not just different by eyes and shorts....those variants are spread out over years and mostly different movies. Each movie is its own license. Batman begins, dark knight, dark knight returns. All unique license. And spread out over half a decade. And we are talking about a MUCH slower time for DC and terminator movies and no JP. And, how many figures total have been released from avengers 1? I think that's been close to matched already with this new film...mad it ain't even out yet. With avengers 1 the most expensive figure was hulk. This time around he's 4th. If u count the normal figure. Maybe lower depending on what comes later. And he's not exactly cheap. And when those other films came out they had very limited competition from other films that may bring other figures. Looking ahead that does not appear to be the case. And that's not even taking Star Wars into account. Which is Howard's favorite film franchise.

I just don't think it's likely. Not anytime soon. Not when there's two more avengers movies coming on top of all that other stuff. Yes, hot toys would love to use the molds again. And I expect they will. But for a few years. Not if the only difference is pants. And maybe red eyes. They wouldn't be adding any customers that would not have bought hulk anyway. But, if they did an accessory pack they could tap an unused market. Or wait for a new film or slow point in figures and then add those customers.
