Comparison from the new TV spot. Can't look past that afro sculpted hair.

Not trying to complain, but Hulk looks too cartoony in this frame. I know he's a CG character. But definitely too cartoony in that scene.

If you compare the opening of the mouths, where his uppper and lower lips meet on the figure is about right in between the two, in the movie shot its much closer to his upper lip, it's all about what the muscles would do and how it pulls the skin, the figure lips are open in a relaxed looking state where the still has clear tension in the skin of his face which fits with anger.

People can call it nitpicking or whatever, but such a small detail is making the difference between and angry Hulk and a yawning Hulk.

:exactly: they didnt get it anatomically correct.... sometimes they can get away with it but in this case it throws the whole look off

I am still in need of a Hulk...but is the Avengers version better than the AoU version? It looks like the faces are different.

like Darkangel said its really about preference. Personally I like the Age of Ultron one more. Its good value and it looks a lot better imo, more like Ruffalo Hulk and I like the color more
I like this one because it is the newer version and I actually like his pants. Comes down to your preference :)
+1 for new pants :clap :lol
Not to mention this Hulk is the one who actually fights HB. :rock
:exactly: If you are getting Hulkbuster, the new Hulk is a must
True. I guess it will just depend on which one I can get cheap.
Like I said the AOU is really good value imo, as is the deluxe set

Not getting Hulkbuster...so out of my price range. :(
Wasn't the deluxe set about $100 more?

Yep, $375 compared to $275. If you're in the market for an even cheaper Hulk, people will probably look to offload their Avengers Hulks the closer we get to the AoU's release date.

I'd completely be fine with my Avengers 1 Hulk fighting Hulkbuster. XD

Any hulk works. But if you don't have one I don't see why you wouldn't go with the new one. Especially given the non DX version is cheaper then nearly all the sales of the older hulk.

I think they are both great in their own ways. I'm not the type that has to pick just one and find reasons why I won't get others. I guess I'm odd. I would own every figure if I could budget both the money and space.

I don't care for the new pants and mainly because they're a perfect fit instead of torn pants like the first figure, but that's comparing the figures from general hulk fandom, I like the ripped pants look a lot, I didn't like on the old Bixby show in the early seasons when they just got small and tight but didn't rip, I didn't like the shorts he had for the biggest scene in the Ang Lee movie. The said, all I have right now of this AOU costume is a few trailer clips and some photos, maybe after seeing them worn throughout the movie, I'll come to really like them.
