I am so thankful for that. As a new collector, I wanted to collect Marvel toys. I found this section of the forums so friendly and inviting. I love this area of sideshow freaks. Definitely the best, in my humble opinion.

So Elite Creatures 1:3 AOU Hulk is said to also have purple spandex pants and not the silver/greyish one on the proto here even tho the trailer shows pretty much the same. Still puzzling how every other collectible has the purple with red and Avengers logo except this. Maybe there is a chance they will change them or he does actually wear more than one pair. Who knows

Yea I am sure once the film is released and the product can look like the movie they will "fix" it. Remember ASM 2 concept uniform.

But who needs to fix it? From the actual movie footage we have seen hot toys is the one to get it correct.

It all comes down to reference material and when the company works on the product. I don't think the purple pants with red stripes are in the movie, they're in marketing art, probably the only reference material given to many companies and that's why so many items have them, but they're all sculpted, HT is cloth, and they have 90% of their figure work done from the last one, new pants and a head, they could wait on the reference material. It's possible some comapnies are purpose given certain reference. At this point, HT has their reputation around authenticity and their quality, if Hasbro or some other companies don't have the right pants it's not necessarily going to hurt sales.

We've seen 3 points in the movie with Hulk, all wearing the same pants as this HT figure, so I think these are it. Now, that said, they seem really light in all the HT photos and I think they're a material that changes a bit in lighting, they look dark in the snowy scenes and even the end battle a bit, but in the hulkbuster fight they look lighter, but look here, they almost look navy blue.

I do wonder if HT will revise their hair, looks more based on promo art than the movie, his hair is definitely longer in the movie.

DX 8,9,11,12 were my first HT's. After being filled with excitement and wanting to talk to other folks about Hot Toys I jumped on here and hung out on the DC threads. I literally thought that I was owning these toys incorrectly after reading their posts. Stayed off the forums until I PO'd the GOTG and AOU figs. Marvel side is definitely a lot more friendly.

Its gonna be so funny to see Hulks pants suddenly rip apart when he changes now, just because he has these stretchy pants underneath. Whereas in Avengers 1 his pants were invincible
