Having seen xeno's review i have to say i am not liking that pers hairpiece and the gap at the back. Urgh just wish they hadn't done pers at all, i mean it comes off as 1 piece but there is that seam in the hair. I dont recall seeing any seem in the release photos.

i saw that and was thinking he didn't have the hair on right

Pretty sure the hair lays flush on both head sculpts. Can't see Hot Toys missing that feature. All photos I've seen of Hulk AOU, he looks phenomenal. Hair and all.

There's always a seam whether there's PERS or not (Han Solo). Sometimes it's less noticeable than at other times.

i do like the hair, veins, and the face looks wider
Im just not sure I can justify another $300 in differences

although the smashing pose is epic, I wonder If I could attach it to hulk 1's body. I could put him up higher where it would hide the darker green legs

I had the same thoughts and ideas on this as well.
I think the hardest thing for collectors to do is to get over the initial "oh wow it's new!!" feeling.

**** this. I'm really tempted, but cant make up my mind. the more pics I see, the more I'm feeling let down?
I was all in for the smash body... and then I saw the palms. minor, I thought but now... what I dont get is how the smash body doesn't even seem to match the two heads? like it's a different material or something?

looking at pics like these:

it almost looks like someone photoshopped the head in... the colors dont match and the body texture seems softer? + there's this off-putting shine to the whole torso area... which just seems weird?


and these aren't the only pics to demonstrate the same thing?

Yeah, that's certainly a thing.

I actually prefer the first Hulk, in looks. I don't like the headsculpts on AOU Hulk. I actually didn't like the new look for Hulk in AOU. I don't own a Hulk at all, so I'm not even coming from a place of having already spent $300 on the first version. I still would like to add a Ruffalo Banner to my collection, but Hulk is too pricey for me given that he's one of my least favorite Avengers.

Yeah the screaming head always looks weird. It looks like it needs some serious posing. I can't say for sure until I have it hand and play with it

I gotta be honest... I prefer the green of the first version. That's my ideal Hulk.

Second one is super nice though.

Might be the lighting but the color/paint doesn't look that impressive, which I know isn't the actual case because my first hulk looks amazing. Not digging this second effort at all.
I also love how HT purposely made the green shades different so people are more inclined to buy it instead of get pieces online. Saw that one coming a mile away.

Looking at these very early pics and xeno's video, if it had been an option, I would've bypassed both the roaring headsculpt and smash torso. But it wasn't, so....

I agree.
The body is too glossy .
Also the screaming head seems small

It seems a little light, despite its size.

Maybe NECA's 1/4 will be better.

What's really crazy is, Hot Toys 1/6 is as tall as that Iron Man in that photo, and NECA's Hulk will be that much taller than this.
