The NECA invasion of this thread has already begun. :lol

Not trying to invade, just a big fan of Hulk and impressed by both companies, each figure has strengths and weaknesses, pretty much one's strengths are the orher's weaknesses. I may not be able to afford either but admire and would love to own both.

as i prefer 1/6 over 1/4 stuff im sticking with ht. necas mp paint apps have been known to suck though at 1/4 maybe it will be better done. i am tempted by their penguin figure.

Scales aside, HT offers the more realistic product, paint, sculptural datails, NECA has the better overall anatomy and expression in the sculpt. They both look like a tie for tailoring, though HT has the movie pants and NECA, at least for now, is using the design from the marketing art that many other toy companies have used, maybe they'll revise it.

Unless it has drastically changed over the last few years, good luck with NECA quality control

Random thought, but I wonder if Banner will continue using his magic shorts in any future MCU film he appears in or if other directors will want to get back to a torn pants look for Hulk and find some way to write them out of the picture.

It's alright, I really don't mind, what we've seen so far from NECA is mighty impressive.

The Hulk is my favorite superhero/antihero and the HT deluxe set will be my first high-end Hulk collectible. Maybe I shouldn't have expected so much for the extra $100 but the smash torso and roaring head just don't "wow" me at the moment. And that's a shame.
