Box art is different from Deluxe version.

Actualy James has the regular version, the deluxe version is different art.

Edit: Ups I meant to quote goatchumby not james post..

I will have an inaccurate box? Cancelled!

I have both Hulks from the Lego series, and it seems like the pantone was set across all collectibles.

So they changed the color for merch reasons? There's really no rationale, story-wise, for the color change, is there?

I wish they had kept the color consistent. If they have to change the hairstyle and pants, so be it.

I don't think there's a huge change in his skintone from film to film, but AOU is quite muted looking during a lot of Hulk's scenes, where in Avengers you see him in very clear, clean color and lighting shots.

There are subtle differences because ILM developed new technology and rebuilt the model to enhance the skin, you'll notice in AOU you see his veins much more through his skin and the tones of his skin vary more because of that added level of blood interaction with his skin.

Seeing the comparison pics, I know people like the original HT skintone, but I feel like the AOU figure is closer to his Avengers film color, the first figure doesn't look like his skin color outside of a few particular moments, I think the new figure is what it's meant to be and should look like most times outside of color tinting in shot.

Well put, totally agree with this!

Getting impatient to add this guy to my shelf!!

I think they're going for a shade that's almost plausible for a transformed human, green enough he's Hulk, but almost close to a flesh tone that it's not so comic book like.

I'm fine with it, reminds me of Lou Ferrigno in makeup.

Wouldn't mind that in 1/6. Alas, it'll probably never happen. :monkey2

Ferrigno Hulk is the grail pursuit of my Hulk collection, I'm to the point I'd settle for Funko to make one in their ReAction figure line, just something, you'd think if they can get Adam West and Chris Reeves rights, Lou Ferrigno wouldn't be hard.

Ferrigno in Funko form would be a very sad consolation prize, indeed. Sigh.

Just preordered the deluxe on BBTS. Been avoiding this thread for months but couldn't resist upon coming in here..

I have the A1 Hulk but I think the AoU may be the definitive Hulk to have. Two head sculpts and two interchangeable upper bodies, that's just too cool. Now to decide if I want to sell my A1..

I actually prefer the color of the AoU Hulk over the A1 Hulk. To me, he looks more believable as a transformed human when his skin color is more muted. I'm excited to be getting this one. :)
