A neomorph figure is a must for me. They looked so much better and scarier than xeno.

Like steamblust said, the neomorph design was much cooler. Both the baby and grown up versions.

The new Xeno design looked too smooth, looked more organic opposed to Giger's biomechanical influences. Although its not the "finalized" xeno from Alien, the fact it was mostly CG didn't help the look either. I could easily pass on that (although its probably the more likely figure to be produced)

All in all, entertaining movie, my 3rd favorite in the franchise. A lot of dumb people make dumb decisions again (mostly for plot convenience), it was mostly predictable, but at least it was exciting this time when it had to be so I can let it slide. If you want to hate it or critically compare it to the first 2, there are plenty of reasons to not like it. However, have a open mind, set your standards moderately, and its a fun time at the movies.

This movie was like watching a loved one die slowly in front of me.

:lol
That made me laugh!
I'm feeling that way about many movies lately.
Like the writers are either senile, copy cats, or 1st graders.
I've resorted to watching Japanese Anime for original storytelling.

wait for director's commentary.

p.s. i always wondered how Connor's clothes model resembles Kyle Reese, clothes colors color scheme is close to Technoir terminator, while Kurgan dresses and behaves like Illbeback terminator in the motel he stayed.

Hahahah I love it. That was my buddy the entire movie. Watching me watch the screen.

he doesn't just watch him. wait. you know what Kruger tells Connor about what he did to his loved one before she died slowly in front of him, right?...
you guessed anyway by the end of this comment.

I'll be honest, know clue what movie that is. But just that image... hahaha it yells Me!!!

This.

For me it was even worse. Watching a loved one gets a supposedly terminal disease, then gets a remission, then gets much worse, then surprisingly gets just a bit better again (enough to spark a tiny bit of hope everything will turn out alright) and then die suddenly in a car crash instead of the disease.
Despite all the plot holes, WTF moments and unanswered questions raised in Prometheus, I was still having hope that once the proper xenomorph appeared on the screen the movie will end decently. And then the final xeno battle and the Daniels' inner badass and the last second jump happened.
I literally left the theater devastated.

BUT I liked the refreshed xenomorph design. Not a fan of neomorphs, but I think I will buy xeno, especially it was quadrupedal-ish, so it could be a Dog Alien stand in, until DA 2.0 is released. If ever.

Scott promiced to get into the back door of the original movie (which he ruined) - and you hoped for something? :dunno
