I second you that General! I ordered both the 12" HT too.

I can’t say how much I love the diorama line fro SS and Alien 3 is no exception of this line’s quality. The painting on the figure and the base is some of the best I have seen from SS …its just super duper cool.

That is an awesome display. I'm going to have to light mine up like that. Really cool. Thanks for sharing those pics!

Hot Toys haven't even bothered to update the pics on their site yet, if that's what you mean, but I suspect you want to see it sans helmet, rather than the teasers on Sideshows site.

Correct, Sir! And they have these on display in the HT store in HK. I was hoping someone would at least takes some better pics of Kane's sculpt.

Watching that video makes me want them even more now. I have no doubt that these figures will be absolutely BAD ARSE!!

And they said that the suit is made out of a soft vinyl....which I think is good news......rather than the suspected PVC plastic we all thought it would be.

So stoked I got both these guys. Still looks like the heads sit too low in the suit but we'll see what the in-hand pieces look like. I just can't pass them up for that small nit.

Removeable helmets and exchangeable visors were the icing on the cake. For those on the fence, don't hesitate too long, Kane will become the new Hicks, pricewise IMO.

yea.....for me these figures got an excitement factor that was about on the scale of the jabba throne set. & here's hoping that the lines flourishes as well.

i canceled PF anakin so i could keep these guys. i think i made the right choice. the eggs are removable from the stands too. i thought they would be attached. another plus.

There's still madness going on for Hicks et al on ALIENS, but come on...

A L I E N is the Holy Grail of the franchise.

And I agree with Pajm: Kane will undoubtedly be much sought after if this line goes full steam ahead.

In the latest photos I saw it looked like the eggs were not cut in half like the ones from the Aliens/AVP snap kits, so that's also good if true. I imagine they are the same sculpt, though.

The eggs are most likely produced in two pieces and glued shut in this case. Pretty sure they are the same sculpt as well. The open egg for the Kane figure probably just has a new top sculpt. And I'm so glad that the helmets are removable. Just made more sense that way.

p.s. Why didn't they pose the figures more in that video?? He barely bent Kane's arm when he said they were fully poseable. That's not too much to ask for is it
