20 points of articulation, so much less than the 30 we're accustomed to. Well over 20, but I reckon that means closer to 20 than 30.

Well, these are totally insane and I'm so in...

But I don't like the sculpted undersuit part. I wish it was material of some kind, not just for movement but for visual difference from the armor parts.

I totally agree, I'll prolly pass on Dallas and wait for Nos Figs. I just hope Lucky Star Ripley isn't all pvc, that might bum me out. They HAVE to have a removeable Ripley for that piece, just wish they did it here too...

I'm a sucker for spacesuits so I'll get these two and Lambert's blue one too.

But it's ashamed that HT is going the Davy Jones route with these as opposed to a mixed media style.

Still, I hope the end result will be good as GB said.

I hope there's at least some fabric on the suit. Just a bit. anywhere, HT, anywhere. But again, I'd be fine either way.

I hope I'm right too :lol

But for me the price and PVC of these will limit it just to Kane... quick question about the helmet. I seem to remember a lot more of the mask being melted, at least when it was cut off. Was it a smaller hole when he was first attacked and/or brought on ship?

I think it was a pretty small hole on the visor. I remember thinking 'how could that thing get in there?' and being freaked by that, knowing in was so slimy that it just squeezed in there with YOUR FACE!

Anybody here like Revoltech action figures?

At Wonderfest 08:

That could be a pretty cool shelf filler, might want to start its own thread though. It will get lost in this one before too long.

Yep, its definitely not the best looking possible solution, but my guess it it would have been insanely expensive if they went the fabric route. So not a deal breaker, but I'm just not as enthused as I could be about them.

It actually looks like they are partially blurred out... and the red light does hide them a bit too. My guess is the headsculpts just aren't ready yet.

I think you're right on both counts. The suits really are intricate... Getting them just right in fabric probably wasn't easy. And I'm sure they tried.

April? APRIL!? Dammit, I'll probably have to delay getting these for a while.

I can't believe I'm complaining about fast releases. Makes me wanna :chew and :monkey2 at the same time.

That's it! I've had it with Hot Toys and all of their cool new releases. :monkey2
From now on, I'm just going to send all of my paychecks directly to them.

Well I don't see Hot Toys extrapolating on these figures, past the description on their site. I don't think we will know much till these are sold out and someone let's us in on what they have in hand. I am forced to pre-order or miss out, as we all are. I think that deserves some detailed information from the manufacturer. Information that I am sure wont be forthcoming.

I hope Hot Toys doesn't start relying on all PVC parts with their releases. While I found it acceptable for the Predators, though they cheaped out with the Wolfs loin cloth, though not a deal breaker. For the dollars I don't just want a more technical Neca type figure.

It hasn't even been a day since these were announced. geez.

I'm fine with the pvc suit and a $125-$150 price tag. A full fabric suit would've been prohibitively expensive. I can only speak for myself, however.
