Holy crap. Those look pretty fantastic! And it appears that they have lights on their backpacks! The special bases look pretty cool as well. Too bad you can't see their faces.

Looks like HT really went all out on this line.:rock.

time for those select few of you to wet your pants:lol:lol

I actually am not that keen on them , the articulation is the first thing that worries me. They look very bulky. Posing them in decent positions may be a problem. Hopefully not. The bases look superb. I may get just 1. I never thought the 2 guys was a classic alien moment.
Just the facehugger and Kane !.
I bet there not going to run cheap. Reminds me of the battle damaged endo , what they have done with the base. Maybe I was expecting too much.

is it just me or does the stand on the one on the left look as if its up his arse and not around his waist ??.
Sorry for bringing this up but it really does to me. :lol
I' glad hot toys decided to do this with the first alien series. I don't think these will sell to well though with general hot toys collectors just big time alien fans and kids that follow the trend. They would look great on iether side of my 1:1 facehugger on kanes head though ....:rolleyes:

Well, they're kind of supposed to be bulky.

By the way, the price is given as 980 Hong Kong dollars, which is around $125. Does anyone know what the price in Hong Kong dollars was for other HT figures?

I wouldnt be worried about sales.. enough alien collectors around to make sure these sell like hot cakes

I think they look amazing! Incredible detail. I can't wait to see the head sculpts. I hope the Kane special edition means "melted faceplate".

And I'm not worried about articulation too much... They could barley move in those suits anyway.

Totally Batty, dreams do come true, buddy. :D

I wonder if the suits are removeable, or at least the helmets...

Fair points fellas , I'm looking forward to seeing more.
I hate how all the Japanese sites see it all before us.
How do you manage to find these pics , can you read it ?.
I certainly can't . :lol:lol

these look great. the detail on the suits is amazing... including working lights!

i hope that Hot Toys also puts out non-space suit versions. those are the outfits are i am more accustomed to.

I agree. One of my biggest complaints about the Alien Kubricks is that several of the figures only came in their space suited versions, and as cool as the suits are, you really can't tell them apart very easily. I don't think we need any other space suited figures -- at least until they come out with some of the others.

I'm with Reiny, want the characters with flight suits and a atmosphere suit to slip over them. Don't even know if these helmets are removeable...

only thing I dont like about these are the clear cut/mold line across the egg. perhaps there are some gimmick to it, but its just so distracting. otherwise, the figures looks very promising. the post also mention that there is a 99% chance of a ripley figure as well, its not a big surprise since HT already made 2 ripley figures, hopefully the HS will be new. the last 2 are not their best effort.

It will be interesting to see if they do non-suited versions. The whole crew didn't wear them, and to display them all together would be odd if a few of them only had the suits.

This does have me hopeful that we'll see Ripley in the Moebius suit.

I agree about the mold lines. I thought maybe you could swap "closed" and "opened" tops.

Where did you read about the "special edition" Kane?
