I might get one, but as of right now its still up for debate on if I wanna spend the money or not....especailly if the masks cant be removed.

WOW! Can't wait for these to start my HT A L I E N line to complement my HT ALIENS line!
With Indy 1/6 and now ALIEN 1/6 added to my already growing SW, LOTR, POTC, ALIENS, Robocop, etc. 1/6...it's gonna be another EXPENSIVE year to collect...but man these pieces are all so INCREDIBLE!

My guess is that the "special edition" refers to the space-suited Kane, and that the normal edition will be him in his jumpsuit.

I don't read Chinese very well, but it does say "$980 each" so I'm guessing the other refers to the pre-tax price or something.
By the way, it says they'll be coming out in early June. Did we know that?

So, the news is out at last. Two suited figures is a pretty ambitious way to kick off the Alien line. Normally I'd take it for granted the helmets and suits would be removable, the only thing that makes me wonder is the rather low price someone mentioned. The pics in the link weren't the clearest, so it's hard to speculate at the moment with so little to go on. The alternate Kane can only mean a helmet with melted faceplate... with face hugger attached!!! Exactly what I've been hoping for!!!
Guess we'll just have to wait and see what more digging for information turns up. I sure hope those suits will be removable, and that we'll get to see some pics of their noggins pretty soon.

Seems unlikely to me, since this is the one referred to as the special edition. You'd think they'd refer to the one with the facehugger attached as the special edition if that were the case. Then again, I suppose it's possible that most people would want that version, making the "normal" space suit the special edition.
Personally, I would much rather have him in the jumpsuit (with removable facehugger and chestburster) than two slightly different spacesuit versions. But we'll see.

i just hope they release jumpsuit versions of all of them. and if they do, then it's all about the facial sculpt and paint for me. i have no doubt that the uniforms will look amazing, but i really hope that they have the rights to get accurate facial sculpts this time around. i love the Aliens Marines, but had to cough up an arm and a leg to get the faces painted/sculpted right and looking how they should have in the first place.
i have no doubt in Hot Toys' ability to do a good sculpt and paint. especially after looking at their Jor-El, and recent Rambo figures.

No way they are that much! At least...I hope not...
If that's in US dollars, then never mind removable suits... they should be able to sing and juggle coconuts, too! It has to mean Hong Kong dollars, but that's what has me a little worried about whether the suits will be removable or not, or whether they'll have their regular crew uniforms on inside the suits. Too early to tell and we definitely need some more information here! Maybe some of our fellow Freaks who speak/read Chinese could help us out here.

I don't really want the suits to be removable, because it would be a huge pain in the butt, and I'd rather have separate versions to display anyway. I do want the helmets to be removable though.
Yeah, for that price it does seem likely the suits will be permanent, but with removable helmets. Btw, where did it refer to the version of Kane in the picture as the special edition? I didn't see that mentioned anywhere on the picture of the two figures, just prices and approx. release dates.
