Yeah, for that price it does seem likely the suits will be permanent, but with removable helmets. Btw, where did it refer to the version of Kane in the picture as the special edition? I didn't see that mentioned anywhere on the picture of the two figures, just prices and approx. release dates.

My very tentative translation would be:
"The first figures in the ALIEN series will be Dallas and Kane in their space suits (for Kane, this is the special edition)..."

That's $125 US.
Oh, I just skimmed a bit cuz there were some overlengthy posts. $125 is more than reasonable for what in those pictures alone. Detailed costume like that plus the eggs. I think consider other HT figure prices, theres are a bargain at $125.

It might be more, though, since that's the local price. If you import them, I wouldn't be surprised if they were at least $150.
Eggs are eggs, but it looks like they're recyling the molds from the snap kit cases, which is ok, except some of the detailing on them didn't line up and it'd be better to have new molds that matched up since it's a main part of the figure's display, where with the snap kits it was just a containment vessel.

Well I think the seam is because they're reusing the snap kit eggs, and I'm guessing all they've done for Kane's is mod the top half to be open with the same base.
He means nice quality, official photos or conventions photos instead of the blurry scans we've seen so far.

It sounded like you missed the pics earlier in the thread, but thanks for being insulting.
That's pretty awesome! I was pretty certain they were gonna do spacesuits and I think that was the best way to go for the first series. I LOVE the light-up back packs!!!
I wonder why Kane is an "exclusive"?
Incidently, I was talking to Pjam about this last week. Obviously Lambert and probably Ripley in spacesuits will follow as well. It's possible that they won't do the entire crew, just the ones in spacesuits. The plain clothes crew might not be exciting enough for mass market. Maybe blister versions in reg gear, maybe. But clearly we will get 4 crew total and an alien.

Yeah, the eggs are too small. But maybe they don't have the proper eggs finished yet so they just used the snap-kits to show what will come with the figures.
