I am looking forward to the movie and this figure but I'm still skeptical about Garfield as Spider-man. Seems a little TOO nerdy. Ah well, I shouldn't be so picky and just go in with an open mind.

Too nerdy? I'm not a spiderman expert by far but it was always my understanding from the comics I've read and the old 90s cartoon I watched that he was supposed to be nerdy? Some what of an outcast in highschool always spending time in the school lab? I mean I would think you'd have to be pretty smart to think of a way to create a type of webbing that mimmicks that of a spider but has tons of strength, no?

I've been stating it should come with a loose mask. It's something every SM fig has been lacking. (or make it an exclusive) A camera would be nice!


Probably a bunch of webs i'll never use though. (But i dunno, maybe HT will go a different route this time)

If anything I think Garfield looks too good looking to be believable as a high school outcast. I have a hard time believing that a guy that looks like him would have a problem finding friends or getting a girlfriend.

Well, yes, he was into science, of course. He also had like 3 hot women throwing themselves at him at any given time lol. Not a very nerdy trait IMO. In any case that's a discussion for another thread, I'm sure.

I'm interested to see the accessories. Hopefully something more than webs and hands. A second sculpt is a gpod start!

Given that you either get a seamless suit all the way up the neck or an additional non masked head sculpt, I would have rathered a perfect suit, like the red and blue spidey.

Now we are going to have a big gap like black spidey.
