Same, something about the original trilogy's figures that I'm not liking. Hoping the new film will bring better figures

I have gone from digging the suit to REALLY diggin the suit. So, i will probably pass on the BS SM and just get this instead. (if they are released around the same time) Of course this all depends on if the movie is good or not.

I really like the new suit for what it is. It reminds me of the Ben R. suit and i was a huge fan of that.. Probably gonna see a Lizard as well

It reminds me a lot of the "House of M" Spidey which means it'll definitely look fantastic next to the Tobey Spidey in terms of showing a progression.

Yeah will look good in any collection for sure.

I like the intertwining of the blue and red on the fingers on the suit. (probably why it reminds me of the Ben suit)

Spider-Ben is definitely in my Top 10 looks for Spider-Man, ironically the standard Red/Blue isn't in that ten. I'd love to get some sort of vision sequence or something along those lines (Raimi's original SM2 script was rumored to have a dream sequence with a ton of different visions of Spider-Man costumes possible that Peter had when dealing with the loss of his powers, his subconscious working on the problem) where we could get just a glimpse of the various costumes and open them up for HT consideration.

I'm kind of late with the news on the upcoming Amazing Spiderman film. I never knew the Lizard was the villain of choice - i'm pumped !! A Hot Toys Lizard would be amazing and their keeping it green as with Spiderman 3 and this guy whom I recently bought off Ebay at a great price . Here's a shot I took.

Progression of the character on film NOT a judgment on the costume itself. Just like having Keaton Bats next to a Bale Bats shows progression of the character not an explicit judgment on the suits. Although I don't believe this is a regression or a progression on the Raimi suit, that suit had it's own issues as this does but I'll wait to see it actually on film before making any snap judgments.

It has been discussed in the film/tv forum extensively. It's been batted down by looking at licensing but most notably by Joss Whedon himself.

That can't happen cause Sony owns the rights to film Spidey.

Not buying this figure cause the costume is UGHHHHLY (Even tho i know HT will try to make it look good. )
