Great looking $800 Ebay figure.

A reseller got ahold of ten first batch Anakins in the U.K. and sold them for £525 so USD$675, which naturally sold out in seconds.

So, I’m looking at it like 40% of the price is purely down to the manufactured scarcity.

If I ever got to look at this on my shelf, would I see a super realistic Anakin with fantastic hair that I’m proud to own, or an underwhelming figure that I was duped into paying an obscene amount for due to underhanded marketting tactics?

For some reason HT are giving extra volume at the back... so top down views make the hair look extra big. Same issue with Joker. They look pretty decent from the front, straight on.

I have minimal first hand experience from TW as I bought two things there, one in-stock and one pre-order and got both without issue. However, the fact that they still are allowing people to pre-order this makes me wonder how many pre-orders they've taken? That's what would prevent me from ordering from them in this case. No way they're securing the numbers to meet the pre-orders...

I have first hand bad experience with TW. In fact, we have a thread in the general topics section dedicated to their terrible service and how they treat customers. So I would definitely never buy from TW again and urge anyone to do the same.

They've never been good, but they're not as bad as TW.

Interesting. I guess I see why ppl also take issue with Jedha then as I think he promotes them on his reviews.

I say the more who order from the likes of TW the better.

If a sizeable enough portion of dummies think they’ve secured their copies early on at those sorts of stores, it might actually give collectors with common sense a chance to get a legit PO once they go live!

yup that guy takes incredible pics but is constantly stroking off Pop Collectibles.

Funny thing about that is that same creator used to criticize people who promoted stores like he does now. Pop must have him in a good deal as he turned down TW from that free figure thing they were sending out to creators awhile back.

Yup, had to unfollow him with all this PopCollectibles stuff and selling his figures off constantly.

Which is a shame because he takes great photos.

Really wish they did a sculpted hair version for this like they did with Joker.

Unlike Joker, I think this is one of their most realistic sculpts to date but then they go and have it locked behind a super limited rooted hair edition. Would have been nice to have it even with sculpted hair.
