Inart does it the right way, jnd at least gives everyone a fair shot in just turn up the same time as everyone.

I don't even know how this one worked, but I was in line waiting before twice and ended up 5000 and 3000

Unfortunately, I think we’ll see more figures sold this way.

All the more reason to move on from Hot Toys. InArt is putting out better quality and I’ve easily been able to pre-order every figure that I want from them since they’ve gone with an open edition size.

Defintely wasn't random. I had 2 different browsers on 3 devices - only the first browser I opened and signed into had the lowest queue number

So, this is how my day went. Refreshed at 11:32 am a few times and then the line started. Then all the messages "your spot will be randomly assigned when it starts" which, in my case, definitely didn't happen. I had like six devices going. None of their spots changed. Got in when they said they were 75% sold out, was excited. Added to cart. Got a message that my spot in line expired. WHAT?! Refreshed and it let me back in. Had to re-ad to cart. Checked out. BOOM waitlisted. Ugh....oh well.

This is such BS. HT could easily do a 2nd run and make tons of money on this. But they wont. The market is slowly declining, so this is just a way for them to increase interest and demand. They're playing a game now.

Why not limit to one per person and give everyone a chance?
Nice way to treat loyal customers, Sideshow. I think an email complaint might be in order...

I'd say wait a few days. It would be odd to even offer a waitlist option if they don't expect any cancellations so I'm not sure they'll be sticklers with payment plans.

Does anyone know if Joker allow a payment plan?

Sold out. I wonder if the WL link will miraculously work once my time comes up in 15 minutes, or if I'll end up getting kicked back in line.
I'm sure from HT's and SS's perspective this will be considered a win since 30-minute sell outs are a rarity. Good grief.

So now the link works and goes to the order page. At least I'm on the WL. I give it a 75% change of converting. I think a lot of folks in line bailed because they were just there to speculate because the line moved very quickly. I went from over 2K folks ahead of me to less than 300.

Yes both this and Joker was most likely in the 1500 area.

Joker had a higher world wide edition number though (4000 for Joker and 3000 for Anakin) which also probably made a bit of difference.
