Batman Returns in 2012 cost you $220
Batman Returns in 2013 might have cost us $300 (two heads, batwing etc)
Batman Returns in 2014 cost you $300+?

Will it be $1000 for three figures??? :cuckoo: If that is the case I might not want to pay for all three and only stick to one. Unfortunate. :(

True. Imagine hot toys prices in 5 years? I just can't pass up on all 3 of them if they're ever made. Probably end up selling off some of my collection to get new figs. My collection will just keep getting smaller if hot toys keeps up with these increasing prices.

I couldn't imagine a 300 plus dollar catwoman figure unless it was a multiple figure deal or perhaps a pretty extravagant diorama but who knows

It is crazy... If Hot Toys were to, ya know, actually USE this license, they wouldn't have to worry about so many companies doing unlicensed figures. Announcing a license 2 years ago and doing nothing with it just creates a market for the stuff... And there are A LOT of talented folks out there willing to supply that demand.

Just sayin'.

Well, the threads with that stuff are closed... maybe is a clue, who knows!

I would hope so... That was kinda what prompted these thoughts for me.

The pessimist in me says no though, and we are still stuck waiting. :(

Hot Toys requested that threads for these unlicensed figures are closed? I wonder was that a general request or did they particularly have SSF in mind?
