Yeah, instead of giving us Returns, Arkham or just an '89 armor vault by itself they'll rerelease the DX 09 with a couple of "new" face plates and the vault and charge 800 bucks for it.

But the DX 09 doesn't need new plates; they're all fantastic (if HT could fix the issue with them not being totally from fitting, that is).

No, this and Arkham have been canned, you have to come to turns with that.

I bet we see,

- DX 3.0 Joker

- Lt. Gordon, Batsignal, Begins Batman

- Blake, TDKR Armory Cage, TDKR Bruce Batman

Before Returns and Arkham. You know it's true. This Batman is the only Batman that sells.

ARKHAM trilogy is as popular as Nolan movies! If they will reveal the Arkham version of Batman which is very close to the comics, we can see which version of Batman sells better:) But you are right that in this collection world so many people exist who only know Batman from Nolan's movies which is a shame:) Of course I am talking for the new generation but don't underestimate the power of console games so let's wait for the result...
By the way Batman Returns is the ultimate Batman movie which is nearly close to the comics in every terms in my book...

Actually Steve copied Bruce Wayne's style after the 80's. True story.

Make that look and the Penguin's Duckmobile, that would be cool. If it ever happens. And how cool would it be to have a Christopher Walken Max Shreck sculpt-

I did my part. 6 Keatons, 3 Jokers, 2 Mimes, 2 Batmobile. I did this for the love of these movies, and with the hopes that more would be made to help sales.

These products stand out in any collection. Hell they stand out right next to the Nolan stuff. I love what I have, yes I want more, but won't cry if not. Hell we are still in shock of what has been made. I'm just thankful for they made good product, and didn't half *** it.

I sold my Keaton and Nicholson figures to fund a custom project earlier this year. I don't regret selling them, as I feel that it was necessary, in order to get one of my grails, but not a day goes by that I don't think that they'll be in my collection again someday. They're just such fantastic pieces, and they're two that I'd gladly pay for again. So far, HT's Batman line has been sublime, with the exception of a lot of the Nolan stuff (until now, that is; if the new set looks as good in-hand as it does in promos). That's part of the reason I love what I'm seeing of their new set because, frankly, it looks like this is the first time that they've delivered a Nolan Batman that's up to par with the others.

Well, with TDK Armory I'm not worried anymore for Batman Returns Line...

I'm sure that HT has forgotten it.

Yup.

Whatever. Atleast we got Batman, Joker and the Batmobile. Better than nothing at all.

Maybe that's why I haven't given up on these or the Arkham figures, yet; because, in this hobby, I've learned that anything could happen. I never saw last night's release coming, and, there was a time when I never thought I'd see 89, Reeve, or, hell, even 66 figures. I thought there wasn't a snowball's chance in hell for the latter, as they couldn't even get the actual rights in order enough for the show, but look how that turned out. I've seen things happen that I'd have never thought possible in this hobby, so, when I know that a company has a license, for me, it's more a matter of "when" than "if."

Yeah, good post man - agreed.

On top of that - I had no idea about the TDK armory until I read you guys' posts! :lol

Far out, what an awesome set. It's a pity I couldn't care less about it though.. & a pity they haven't revisited the Begins suit properly again. That said - I'm kind of over the 'black rubber suit' thing, past Keaton - he owns that look as far as I'm concerned.

I'm now hoping HT decide to a LOS Bruce Wayne - loaded with all the ninja gear. If that happens.. THAT will be my Nolan Batman. Just like the black Keaton suit was a drastic departure from the classic blue/grey look, LOS Bruce will be a nice departure from the Keaton suit. :duff

Wow... Just looked at the 2014 Hot Toys release calendar. Unless I change my mind and buy West/ Ward, there is not a single thing that I am picking up from HT in 2014. :(

Guess it gives me the year to put aside dough for Sideshow's PF Keaton Bats. Perhaps 2015 will be the year Hot Toys finally delivers on this 2012 promise....

Sallah

Oh my god seriously! You're not getting anything in 2014! 2014 is going to be my biggest year ever for HT.

Mk42, IP, robocop, ed-209, mk17, mk35, eric draven, DV, snake plissken, hoth luke,
P2 elder, celtic pred, mechanic tony.

Next yr is going to be nuts :horror
