Hot Toys Announce Batman Returns License

Oh my god seriously! You're not getting anything in 2014! 2014 is going to be my biggest year ever for HT.

Mk42, IP, robocop, ed-209, mk17, mk35, eric draven, DV, snake plissken, hoth luke,
P2 elder, celtic pred, mechanic tony.

Next yr is going to be nuts

Yup.... I don't like the Nolan films, I have never been a big enough fan to devote that much dough to Predator/ Crow/ Robocop (the Neca stuff is good enough for me), Snake & Hoth Luke are Sideshow (though Snake us tempting), and the absolute glut of HT Iron Man product pretty much soured me on all their Marvel releases.

Happy for those with stuff to buy in 2014 though! It just saddens me to see HT completely ignoring Returns for so long....

Wow... Just looked at the 2014 Hot Toys release calendar. Unless I change my mind and buy West/ Ward, there is not a single thing that I am picking up from HT in 2014.

Guess it gives me the year to put aside dough for Sideshow's PF Keaton Bats. Perhaps 2015 will be the year Hot Toys finally delivers on this 2012 promise....

As much as I love Robocop... My fanaticism for it isn't at Hot Toys price levels. The Neca stuff does just fine. Can't wait for their ED-209!

Yeah I love my NECA Robocop stuff as well and with the HT Robocop stuff I just went with the Robocop & Chair set and I left the ED-209 as the NECA one looks just as good.

It is such a crazy thought that it has been a second Christmas. At the rate and price HT and SS are going I might not be interested in 1/6 anymore. I still think $300 was far too much for DX13. Now I am faced with SS Vader and Elder predator and I don't think I want to spend $475+ anymore. Might just pick up only one.... Elder.

Threezero announcemed they have the Game of Thrones license, so its a gaurantee this line is a pass. The 89 stuff was what I was after ,and I got it.

I don't think you can really base the sales of Mime Joker as the reason we aren't getting the Batman Returns figures. That figure is really more of a niche version of a popular character and I imagine Hot Toys knew it may not be a big seller but they already had the character made in figure form and it was a relatively easy variant. I'm sure we'll get the Batman Returns figures at some point I just think it's not as much of a priority as some people want to believe. Sure Hot Toys shouldn't have teased and said that they would announce them by last December but I don't think the line is dead.

I don't think you can really base the sales of Mime Joker as the reason we aren't getting the Batman Returns figures. I really have a feeling this is the year. 2012 had the DKR and avengers. 2013 they've had the BILLIONS of iron man 3 figures they've done. No excuses this year.... So they should have a free slot produce them lol

Nah, we'll be waiting until 2016, at the earliest. This is the year of the million Rocket Raccoon variants.

Honestly, though, I can see you being right. Not only is 2015 the 75th anniversary of the character, but I think it's starting to sink in for Howard that he's got to get as much money as he can out of the Batfans before 2015 hits and they're all saving up for Batflecks. The fact that we saw a huge TDK set (which is from a movie that'll be going on 6 years old) solicited just last week makes me think there will be a few surprises in store for 2014.

I wouldn't hold your breath. They said last year we would see these around now. HT still has a few IM suits to put out first.
