^ Were only taking the piss.

Realistically were prepared to wait over a year until we see something, judging by HT track record

Some of these lot have no idea about Hot Toys, expecting figures less than a month after announcement:slap :lol

Kind of like the Tech Noir T-800 where it was announced then spec/pics went up the following day? :slap :lol

There is no rhyme or reason with Hot Toys, some lines aren't even announced and figures just appear. Not one figure follows the same release pattern.

also out of curiusity,do you guys think they might actually do a Forever line? i think that would rock. the first 3 batman films are actually my 3 favorites.

I hope they don't because I wouldn't be able to stop myself from buying it all. :(

While I am immensely excited to know that there will be figures from Batman Returns, I do not think it was a good business decision to announce this line before the 89 figure has even hit shelves (and while Hot Toys is likely ramping up for a big TDKR rollout). It seems like this should have been saved until after TDKR comes out.

Oh, and regarding a Forever line, I would not be able to resist a Kilmer Batman even though I am not all that fond of the film. Though, I have trouble deciding which of the Kilmer costumes I would prefer.

The sonar suit was kind of silly but the regular suit looked a little too similar to the 89 costume.

The first Kilmer suit is good one, but I don't know about those nipples & - that pouty mouth of his just looks funny.

I'd get sick of looking at that pretty quick. :lecture :lol

I was searching through Batman Returns stuff in anticipation for these figures and man, the marketing art was/is some of the best I've seen. I remember the graphic images all over the place in '92 and it looks like I found the artist's name, Jose Luis Garcia Lopez. This art was on everything from puzzles, games, to promotional items if I recall correctly. Wish I could find some hi-res stuff. It sure brings back memories.

This cards' lot on the bay looks nice.

:exactly:

I'm skipping the 89 in favour on the Returns figure, might not have been able to resist if i didn't knw it was coming.

Have you looked at Keaton's mouth :lol. I actually think Kilmer often looks like Keaton in the suit, put him in the 89 or Returns suit back when Forever was filmed and I think it's be hard to tell which of the two it was.

:lecture The wait will be long and hard....

Wait a minute, this is Batman were talking about, HT will make this top priority:lol

Agreed. I also think Clooney in the suit looks exactly like Keaton.

Wow, Bale and Clooney have the least kissy-face lips out of all of the 4. It's weird because it doesn't look like the masks are putting that much pressure on Kilmer and Keaton's cheeks, that's just how their faces are.

All I've ever wanted was a line-up of the 89 Bats, the Returns suit, and just the Panther suit from Batman Forever....Kenner failed to deliver on every level. Could Hot Toys finally make this dream a reality??

Ok, I worded it wrong perhaps..

Keaton's mouth is 'pucker-y' (if that's even a word :lol), but it's not pouty - as in like a pretty boy. Kilmer had that pretty boy thing, whereas Keaton just had a very distinct looking mouth.
