As a huge Batman fan, I'm in for a returns Batman.

And it's a must for the penguin. One of the creepiest villains in the original batman films

Me too. As for The Penguin, you can see what I thought in my highlight above. BATMAN RETURNS is such a dark and nasty film I think it may have been at least partly responsible for the dreadful 'kiddie friendly' U-turn WB threw at the character with the next two films.

It did not bother me one iota, to me BATMAN was always meant to be gritty and with certain elements that are just a bit scary...and Penguin fits that perfectly.

Oh heck!! I sound like I am channelling Bat Freak! HA HA, watch out Nolanites, ooops! Sorry, slip of the tongue!

But seriously I hope for a 1:6 Catwoman reveal at SDCC. I love my bootles version, but I am sure Hot Toys will blow it away.

I won't be buying any of these since I'm not a fan of Returns, but I can't wait to see Penguin. They can't just stick a fat suit on a standard body this time.

Also, a Keaton head sculpt would be great.

I am very selective with my HT purchases. My last one after Jack Sparrow was Nicholson Joker (to give you an example). I only have two forecast purchases in the horizon which are the DX T-800 and Penguin.
I want Penguin to be previewed and released ASAP. Judging by the recent $200+ price of the regular MMS (bare bone figures), I fear the longer it takes to release Penguin the more it will cost.

Aye Hot Toys priority Batman wise right now is TDKR and tbf Howard did say no Batman Returns reveal till Late 2012

HT said they were revealing Penguin and Batman in December. Makes sense as they are going to be focusing on TDKR and Avengers the rest of this summer/fall. No mention of Catwoman yet either.

Well done Sallah. This is a thread that deserves reigniting every few weeks. As I tend to measure my months off now by how my FLEXPAY payments are doing any way rotfl sad git with no life ) the actual months do seem to zip by fairly quickly anyway. It sounds like a long way off, but it will fly by very quickly.

As for the lack of RETURNS/CATWOMAN announcements, I imagine that it is like you have noted, that HT do not want to put up the two CWs together as this would probably hit the possible sales - on or the other type thing - and I think that this is sensible. But I am certain that there will be on or it will be a horribly missed opportunity otherwise.

After HT's superb Nicholson/Joker, I can only imagine what their Penguin will be like.

Well yeah but a little camera trickery goes a long way. They show the cowl from the front while he talks to Selina and he has the make up and they cut to her and back to him and it's gone.

They could of changed the angle or used primitive CGI since they used it for the Batmobile armor animations.

It must of been hell wearing the makeup under the cowl since it must of made Keaton and Bale sweat their balls off and get it in their eyes
