I think the Batman range is the one that has me hooked. I think these are just great, and with the 89 movie, the 60s tv stuff and the Returns.. The collection is going to need a bigger boat, I mean shelf.

and a few days ago...i got a takara bats off ebay for $125
dunno if his head broken tho since its not stuck on the neck

We need to have HT's hurry up and release these figures. Everyday that goes by increases the price for Penguin. I will be very sad if the price is over $250. (Judging from the price of Wolverine figure)

It's ridiculous considering that it looks like very good basic Wolverine, but does not look like Hugh Jackman. It looks more like Dougray Scott would have turned out if he hadn't needed to finish re-shoots on M-I:2

As for the RETURNS version of BATMAN, I suspect that these are pretty much one-and-done figures. As there were not silly numbers of costume changes in the film (eg three suits of armour per IronMan movie) at least not in the Burton ones, I suspect that these will be straight to DX for each, with everything you need for the differences contained within the boxes for the differences on all three figures.
