So you troll me to prove a point? Big difference between giving your opinion on the God-like status of a person, and just waiting for someone to make a post so you can make accusations. If I called you a troll, then it was probably for reasons like this.

I agree he's made creature FX no ordinary man could do, but just my beliefs there's nothing any person has done, or will do, to elevate them to a God-like status.
And yes, a true master of the trade was lost when Winston passed on RIP. (Maybe if I'd clarified like this originally it wouldn't have seemed I was flaming you. My apologies)

The word "god" is just a title.
I know you are claiming that you are not going biblical, but men are in fact referred to as "gods" on more than one occasion in the Bible. It does not have to imply worship.

I explained my post and put an apology in it saw, as well. But personally, I like how you edited your post to include the bit about trolling. You obviously read into this thread after posting that and saw dedguy's comment about it, so you had to go back and add that. I see that you'd rather be some board hero and get into flame wars, in some sad attempt to be cool on here
Good for you buddy, you go around threads and type in your heroic responses and you tell us people who argue your point off. And take your time with responses and don't post anything stupid, because you wouldn't want you lose your hero status

1) God is a title. It has never been a name. Lord, king, god, president are all titles. The word translated "god" simply means “mighty one” or “strong one.”
2) The Bible uses the title "god" on several occasion to refer to creatures.
Stan Winston was at the top of his class. He is a "mighty one" in the world of creature design. No need to read into it further.

- False gods: Exodus 12:12, 1 Corinthians 8:5
- Angels: Psalm 8:5 (some translations)
- Satan: 2 Corinthians 4:4 This one is particularly interesting. Satan is "the god of this world". According to the Bible he is a "mighty one" behind many atrocities done under his domain. To refer to him as a god does not at all imply worship.

Its a statue of a 1\6th figure made from a drawing taken off a sketch made by 2 guys.

Uh, it clearly states on the placard that it's a 1/6 scale figure, it's never been officially stated anywhere that it's a statue, and you can clearly see all the now-normal Hot Toys Predator articulation.
I don't see how people still think it's a statue and how anyone thought it was statue to begin with I still don't quite understand.
