I think I'm going to get this eventually. But I can't lie in saying that I'd rather have the black version, and the tunic flaps are a bit too short.

And did they only give him one hidden blade?

Heh, it seems I only the saw the pics where he wasn't wearing the other hidden blade.

He isn't as accurate as he could be as far as outfit, but he will still be a great figure. I still wish he was black though.

Have there been any pics of him on display?

The outfit looks accurate to me in everything apart from shape. Is that what you mean buddy?

I think there were a few pics of him on display at the recent toy shows! It looks great!

You know nygma I think they said they will consider bringing out a black outfitted version if this one does well.

The things that are bothering me are his leather shoulder pad and material of certain parts of his attire. Then there are proportions, lengths of certain clothing pieces. I mean, the cheap sculpted figures that came with the game were able to keep the details accurate... why can't this?

No doubt it looks great though, I just wish they put more effort into accuracy.

I know there are little things off in pretty much every figure, but this one strikes me as more off than usual to me.

I'd skip the black outfit and go with this for the next figure:

^^^^I will skip this first version we are talking about here and get the black version and the one above from brotherhood (if they make them that is) ..the first versions color scheme is closer to brotherhoods then the black master assassin ...if i'm to own two versions of Ezio i'd want them to be very different to one another.

It may be the more widely recognized version of Ezio ,but i'm more interested in the designs of the costume themselves and how they will look on display ..but less into the role in which they played in the game ..but the only thing close to "iconic" for me personally would be an Altair figure.

I'm sure there'll be an Altaïr if Ezio sells well.

I don't think I'd buy Altaïr as fast as I did with Ezio, but I'd probably get it just because of my AC addiction.

I would like to see either a Master Assasin Ezio (Black armor), or an Altair Armor Ezio.

I don't really get why Ezio isn't wearing Altair's armor in Brotherhood, after he worked hard for it in ACII

I sure hope HT does continue this video game line I think it would do very well. I would like to own the Altair figure if it is done.

The Altair armor get destroyed at the start of the game

I still haven't bought this guy, sucks having no money:monkey2

sooo no in hand pics yet? my LCS has this saying it's coming out in the US before Prince Dastan, but we've already seen in hand pics of him. why not Ezio?

And that's bad how...?
I love the game's realistic medieval setting but this costume is really pushing it into the fantasy realm. (Yes, I am aware that the game is actually really sci-fi at heart).

Also, an Assassin is also supposed to be discreet and there is nothing discreet about this costume. That's why I love the main Ezio's costume from AC2. It is a flashy enough costume befitting a main character but not to the point where it screams ASSASSIN!!!.
