I was being just a tad sarcastic in my prior post. If this actually goes for sale, I will buy -1 of them.

When anyone bought HB we thought it was the figure and that's it. Hot toys was under no obligation to included extra stuff later just becuase we want it.

Yes, Motuxmen. I get that. Thank you for pointing out the obvious. My problem is not with initially purchasing and expecting more. My problem is I (as well as many other collectors) were led to believe there was going to be added accessories INCLUDED in the figure. It got a lot of fans hopes up and softened the blow somewhat for shelling out $825 for a figure. For them to possibly turn around and charge extra money for accessories (let me repeat ACCESSORIES) for a figure is ludicrous at best and shameful to their loyal fan base.

Stick up for Hot Toys. I respect that. But do not be blind to the fact that if Veronica is sold separately, it's a low move. By defending them, you are somehow justifying their actions. Which completely blows me away. Yes, no accessories were talked about when I ordered the figure initially. Yes, Hot Toys has no obligation to include accessories. But I was led to believe something different. Guess I'm crazy to think an accessory for a figure should come what that figure. How dumb of me to assume such a thing.

Plenty of collectors are pissed off. And rightfully so. Open your eyes and maybe you'll understand.

I was actually never under the impression this was getting more accessories. I haven't seen the stuff that led people to believe that.

Pretty easy to find.
Keep dreaming. $159.99 for this......

Veronica is gonna be $160-$180. Mark my words.

Wait, it floats using magnets?

Initially I was silently agreeing with those that figured this would be included with HB (when I thought Veronica was the hub with a clear stick and base) but that's madness to assume HT would include a floating Veronica with electro-magnetic base stock with the figure. This required its own R&D and is a pretty awesome accessory. HB is massive and totally justifies its own price, IMO. Please let me know if I've misinterpreted something, as I haven't kept up with the thread but I'm not in agreement at all that this should be included free with HB.

I do remember them saying something along the lines of, "Hulkbuster has additional features that we cannot show until well after AoU is released." Most people assumed (after seeing the movie) it would be an extra arm.

At this point I have no clue what these post-movie features are. Is this Veronica it? If so, that's pretty sad.

I was gonna say the magnet gimmick just puts this at a $100+ on its own.

Veronica was seen in the trailer... The hammer arm wasn't that big of a spoiler... Still no clue. Maybe it comes with missiles it used to blow up the building :lol

Yep. And as an example, over is the Star Wars section, we're all hoping HT makes a 1:6 TIE Fighter that a lot of us assume will be $2k+. There isn't anyone there assuming HT will include a Pilot. This stuff isn't free to make.

I think they are smoking crack if they think there is going to be a 1/6 TIE fighter. That would be massive, and they'd sell maybe 50. The money they'd lose would be insane.

Yeah, sure, that's not the point (likely it won't happen or be scaled down to 1:12 like the Bat). Point is no-one's expecting a free lunch. :lol

I know, I'm following the madness there. I still don't think they'll pull thru with that but it's worth seeing how it unfolds.

And yeah, no way they would include the pilot that's extra money they could be making. Shouldn't be assuming that unless they actual say it is.

"Many fans can probably remember Hot Toys has recently mentioned there will be more in store for our’ 1/6th scale Hulkbuster collectible figure, and now we have a sneak preview of what just one of those will be.
The Hulkbuster armor module nicknamed Veronica will be coming to San Diego Comic-Con! Come by Sideshow/Hot Toys’ booth (#1929) to take a look in person starting this Thursday!"

This was from their Facebook page. It would be easy to confuse "in store" for more things added to the figure.

A 1/6 TIE Fighter would be over 4' tall, 3.5' wide, 3.5' in length. That's pretty figgen huge for any home. How would anyone display something that big?

Thanks for posting the above.

Pretty lame. You'd think someone would see the disappointed fans and they would try to clear things up.

I read that, too. I still wouldn't assume that meant a fricking floating Veronica. Anyone that thinks this is a little knick-knack that HT would throw in for free isn't being very realistic (nicest way I can put it).

I've got a corner picked out if it does come to pass.
