Despite being very economical with my fluid intake, I had to go once in my first showing and missed the 'no do-overs, look out for each other' scene. Second showing I had nothing at all to drink beforehand...had to go to the loo twice! :lol Made sure I didn't miss Cap's speech though.

As of now, this is still the only EG figure I have interest in. Looking at my AoU Avengers and GotG groups together, I think he’d fit very nicely with them.

Apparently y’all didn’t get the memo:

Who’s more foolish though? The fool who didn’t include an intermission during the film, or the fool who’s actions before the film caused them to knowingly have to require an intermission?

I literally metered how much water I drank all day. Only about a bottle and a half all day, so I didn't feel the need to go.

Back to the figure:

He didn't even wear the Gauntlet on the same hand. This and and pretty much every other figure out there is inaccurate. At least Hot Toys has the lead time that no other toy companies have to fix it.

They maybe put Stark gauntlet, make this one removable, IDK.. but I hope they don't remove the original Infinity Gauntlet. This is the most comics visual ever

Yeah, I hope they realize that realistically, VERY few people are going to be getting both IW and EG Thanos, but likely want an Infinity Gauntlet with their Thanos. I would simply just include a Stark Gauntlet, but not pull the Infinity one. I mean this is still relatively accurate to the beginning of IW while on Thor’s ship when he had all his armor on with the IG. Granted all he had there was the power stone, but would anyone really want a gauntlet with only the power stone for the sake of accuracy?

Yeah I reckon if they change what they've already offered they will have a real backlash. The hidden accessory should be as you've mentioned. Simply as an addition.

Plus we've mentioned that the single hands for left and right fit that theory.

I just wish they'd confirm what it is. But they'll need to wait a few weeks so it's no longer a spoiler.

I strongly suspect the hidden accessory you're talking about will come with one of the already announced figures (who has a hidden accessory).

I have a feeling that HT like many companies was working off of conceptuals. They've had this issue before in the past with superhero movies. I think what you'll see happen is they'll add them as bonus accessories and include the staff that is inaccurate for people to either use or just keep in the box. It was a brilliant movie on Marvel's part to make sure that a toy didn't spoil much like has happened with Funko, Lego and Hasbro in the past.

The only thing I didn’t get is the old Cap thing. From my understanding when they went back they essentially created another timeline because of irreconcilable changes they made to the timeline (Thanos, Nebula, Loki, the Scepter etc), and Cap went back to that 2nd timeline to return the stones. I’m going to assume that the Quantum realm allows travels to alternate timelines, which allowed them to return to their original timeline. So how does old Cap enter the first time line?

Yes, I'm also having a hard time wrapping my head around that one. I guess it must be all tied to the device on his wrist. As long as he kept that, he has the "coordinates" to return to the original timeline, the same way the teams returned from their separate missions after creating alternate timelines on those trips. Assuming, of course, that there's a quantum tunnel "launching pad" still assembled somewhere....Which I'm pretty sure was destroyed when Thanos leveled the Avengers HQ. So I guess he returned before that happened without anyone noticing? Ugh, I give up...

Yeah, so he goes back to return the Teseract (where he sees Peggy through the window) and then bails from traveling back to them in the present. I think it's just more so you can get the sentiment of the story......not sure you could ever logically work that out to "fit". If he's with Peggy, everything changes. It's just written to give you that final payoff scene.....don't overanalyze :) :lol

I don't know why we're bothering with spoilers if the main movie thread now allows them, but I'll follow suit and contribute my interpretation of the ending:

I don't think Cap portals back to Hulk, Bucky, and Sam after living his life with Peggy. He returns the stones, reunites with her, and after she passes away he walks back to the others. He knows where they will be and the exact date, so he strolls over to that bench to meet them. But to his friends, he just appears there because that stroll wouldn't have happened if he hadn't gone into the portal first to return the stones.

I think people are aware of that, but just trying to figure out the logic of how he could be in that timeline. The timeline he's currently in requires cap to be involved in everything that happened to get to that point. But if cap grew old with Peggy, then he's in a completely different timeline because he wasn't involved in any of those things.

That's how I see it. There are two Steve Rogers existing simultaneously for awhile. We never see Peggy's Husband in Winter Soldier because it's Steve.

She mentions though that it’s NOT Steve in TWS. In that documentary that he was watching in TWS in his own exhibit, she states that one of the soldiers Steve saved in TFA became her husband. Unless she’s attempting to run cover for him and hide the fact that future Steve came back to be with her.

We were talking about this and other things (like how do you return the soul stone, where is Loki, etc) at work today and just i pretty much decided trying to make sense of time travel gives me headache :lol

Imagine if to return the Soul Stone, you simply had to give it back to Red Skull. If so, who does that mean he met again? Oh yeah. :lol
