This one has as much articulation as HB 1.0 but for half the price. It's a different figure altogether but from an economic perspective, it's a good deal

I understand the joke is that the 1.0 is pretty much a static figure. But that figure did have a pretty decent amount of articulation. The only thing really restricted were the legs. There's an incredible amount of details and moving pieces on the 1.0. It's a pretty incredible engineering feet. The 2.0 is basically just molded vinyl/plastic with "softer" details. From far away, it looks fairly good but up close it's no comparison. if you get it on discount, it's a decent deal. Got one for $320 on eBay recently and I'm happy with it, but it doesn't wow me like the 1.0 did/does.

Dammit. Should?ve waited ... ordered this during spook. Would?ve been nice to get the gauntlet as well.

I did the same and feel the same. I did get a infinity war cap and a hall of armor for a gauntlet but it would have been nice to get another (for trade or sale). O well hindsight is 20 20. I do love the figure though.

Not a joke at all. I was originally on the fence about 2.0 because of the material and design choice but needed it to complete the IW line.

I own the 1.0 too and that one is a must-have...

1.0 may be lacking posability due to the legs. It doesn't lack articulation - probably has more articulation points than most figures. Benefit of the 2.0 is that it's already set in a good pose. But it only has 5 limited swiveling articulation points, so it's pretty much staying in that pose.

Just got this today.... I don?t typically care about shipper boxes but found it a bit weird that this came in a different type of box than I?m used to with Hot Toys figures as far as the labeling and such. Is it just me?

Guess it came to mind because I?m wondering if sideshow sent me a return or something since it has this cracking in the midsection area.

That’s really crappy. I keep hearing about them sending used figures as new.

Sorry for the double post but right after I sent this I open my replacement for my hall of armor. I had one that didn’t work with the walls. One had a stuck button and could not work. The other one had a stripped screw and I could not get the cover off to replace the battery. I sent it out for a replacement. They sent me back the same one they attempted to fix. They’ve drilled a hole in the wall filled it in and painted over it. They drilled out the other screw in a way that now I can’t even be screwed back down. On the phone they told me we don’t do this we always send a replacement yet the damage that is all of this is equivalent of someone attempting to fix the damaged one I sent them. Then continue to engage with Sideshow. Im not sure what anyone in the community can really do for you besides the "best wishes".

As long as sideshow allows people to return figures no questions asked then of course some people will get those figures eventually. What are they supposed to do? Lose money by selling them at a discount? We would all see an increase in New figure prices to cover that cost if they did that.

Selling a blatantly used figure as "new" is deceptive. The fact that they sell the used piece at full retail prices is just another slap in the face. If they want to sell used figures, created a used section on their site and sell them at a discount based on a grading system, where the higher the grade, the lower the discount.

At the prices we're paying for these figures, getting anything less than what we paid for is unacceptable.

I did and am waiting the seven to ten business days for my response. I was not looking for any one to do anything just like a review was sharing my experience. Also posted it here as I thought it was ironic I responded to the poster above me about hears this happens only to open my latest delivery and it happened to me.

Cool. Yeah, it sucks it happens. Thanks for letting the community know then, as a PSA.

I'm not one to complain normally but this is completely unacceptable if true

I have to assume that they pass defective or broken pieces back to the original manufacturer in most cases, which is why it seems odd they'd try to fix a $400 figure and send it back out as new. I'm generally a defender of Sideshow and in particular, their customer service, but I don't think it's reasonable to pay full price for something that's not brand new.

People return figures for all kinds of reasons. It doesn't have to be a defective figure. Some defects can be fixed. No I don't think Sideshow should discount a figure just because someone had previously returned it if the issue was corrected.

I agree, but it should be listed/sold separately and there should be full disclosure on Sideshow's part that it it's not mint in box. They can call it "new, previously opened" or whatever, but regardless of what they call it IMO they shouldn't unilaterally decide what's acceptable to the customer. Sideshow is a distributor for HT, not the actual manufacturer. Other sellers of HT figures will list them separately (with a discount) if their boxes are dinged or if there's a minor issue such as a small accessory is missing. Sideshow should either adopt the same practice or strictly supply legitimately NEW HT figures.

We're not buying goddamned refurbished figures, we're buying new ones. Company's discount items all the time for scratch and dent or open box. It happens and their business should be built around accepting that. They're the distributor making more money on these than anyone anyway, they can take it.

I thought it odd when I first picked it up at UPS but didn?t think much of it until I noticed the damage on my figure... this definitely isn?t an HT shipper ha
