AVP (as in AVP 1) talk is fine, but it's time to dumb down the unrelated discussion and picture posting. Plenty of Wolf, P2, etc. threads where those can go.

Does the quality of the movie reflect how much we like the toys? Obviously if you really like a movie you will want the toy but could you look at it objectively and see its flaws? Where as if you disliked a movie would you be more critical as there is less of a sense of admiration for the character the toy represents?

I really love Predator (goes without saying) But i think the HT P1 is really pretty poor. I do not like it at all. The only thing i enjoyed was the jungle base and thats because i used it for other figures.

But all though i think AVP:R is "ok" i really liked the HT Wolf.

But i see other comments where Wolf is slaughtered and P1 is praised. And i dont know if thats to try and spite one movie and big up another movie or if im missing something other than Wolfs skinny legs and face sculpt or P1's over sized head and stunted growth.

I like the HT wolf also, yes he has skinny legs, but he also looks awesome, the P1 is my least favorite because of the oversize head and partially hunched back that gives the impression he has no neck. In the end....it's all about a matter of opinion and everyone's own views, we all have favorites of one and hatred for another, NONE of them are perfect. But as long as we respect each others decisions and opinions, then it's all good. If we all get mad at each other for different opinions does that mean all those that don't like Vanilla ice cream is on my **** list? LOL, I have a feeling there's a wrath about to come down upon me

Sorry had to give my two cents Blade. I don't dislike any predator for the record, just like some more then others. And as far as predators not Dying, Greyback and the rest of the P2 lost clan lived, sure they minor characters but I'll take it,

In all seriousness though, can we please limit conversation to the first AVP film in this thread? There are plenty of official spec threads and picture threads that can be used for P1, P2, AVP-R, etc.
Gotta be either AVP movie talk, or Scar, Chopper, Celtic, AVP Elder, Ancient Special, or Ancient Asia related. No need to mesh the discussion in this thread with discussions that are already all over the place, that was never the point. Here is a place where we can honor and have conversations about the very first HT Alien and Pred figures since the other lines are getting multiple threads of their own.
