I can't remember, is that scene in the Extended Version..?
Isn't there some other special version that has more shizzle too?

I have the original first release version, not extended, but I thought the extended just had a new scene in the beginning?

I have the original release (theatrical version + extended version).

There are a few scenes.. Like when the Facehugger falls from the top of the trophy-like wall, the scene where Miller gets insulted by Verheiden, the scene that Blade linked above ^..

I don't remember if all of those are from the extended version, or from some other special version thing.

I know for a fact that the extended version has the small 1904 story at the beginning.

I actually like the build up to any sort of Alien or Predator presence in the film. The Predator arrival scene in AVP is quite similar to the cut opening scene too with the guy running around and the stealth blade etc.

It doesn't really bother me too much though because it happened 100 years earlier. Like, a short little taste of whats to come.
Like in the first scene, in the first episode of The Walking Dead (which I now have on blu-ray).

The first Predator gear up scene was enough to get me excited. Think that's about 21 minutes in

The extended/unrated cut actually doesn't have a lot of stuff. The movie itself is intense, so I guess a little extra PhotoShopped blood in some of the kill scenes would've been enough to push it to an R. I'd say the unrated version has more value for its deleted talking scenes and intro. Anything extra to set up the story I'll take. Hell, that's what makes the Alien 3 special edition so brilliant; more character development and an extra major plot segment. In AVP's case, it's not much, but it does add a bit to the movie.

Guys i have a near mint in box complete ht biohazard 4 r.p.d leon s. Kennedy that i wana trade 4 a boxed complete ht scar, ancient, chopper or celtic predator... Last r.p.d. went for just under $600 excluding shipping in an auction on ebay and the bin ones have crazy prices just like the avp preds. Pm me. Thanx

I saw they jumped in price the last couple of weeks, but obviously im not looking for brand new never assembled preds, just complete, nothing missing or broken and with the box.
