...hours later I'm down to this. I'm almost done with the lightning hook. I need to dull down the shine on the braided cable, plus I need to make a plug for the end of the cable line to plug in.
Besides that, it's about complete.

Looks cool inside that fish tank and makes the perfect display case.

Thanks. Now I just gotta find a covert way to have the adapter cable run in there to just have it plugged in and not have to worry about batteries, then I want to find a nice background. Also need to finally work on putting the Nike decals on Marty's shoes. Worried about doing that.

So you're also using a fish tank as well. What are your thoughts on how you're going to do that? I'm in the same situation. Im kinda scared to drill the tempered glass but I want the cable as well.

I will not use the fish tank display idea. I'm having a custom display table for this.

OUTATIME OUTABOX.

Quick pic. The car looks pretty cool.
Its smaller than the Batmobiles, but carries a load of body detailing.

That front box that in stalls to the bumper looks like it's drooping! Did you make sure to get all the plugs snapped in correctly? I ask because the first week I had mine, I did not line it up correctly so it did not snap in and looked like yours. I fixed it though.

I had a different passenger in mind for mine...

Great car.
I have decided to get a Marty fugure for it. After all , I all ready have, The Doc !! 😄

Thanks. I hadn't noticed it. I must gave knocked it out when I picked it up. Back in place now.

If I recall from earlier posts, this can be lit up using a (not included) power adapter instead of batteries.

Anybody have requirements info for the adapter?

Yes. Instructions and specs given in the instruction sheet.
You require a 4.5 DC single jack power supply.

Iwas most surprised at how well this lit up with the batteries. If you plan to have the car in a 'tank' of some kind, then an external power source for switching purposes will be a must.
