Is a HT Doc confirmed? Looks a bit like a custom ooak

I don't think either are really "confirmed". But considering they're both on a Japanese magazine cover with Hot Toys logo. AND with a Hot Toys store Back to the Future event in their Japanese stores planned in September, it's as close as confirmed as you can get.

I can understand that. I eventually picked up all three figures, but they're all pretty underwhelming and some of my least favorite in the collection.

A single prototype with no accessories at a con is one thing. This is clearly a lot more.

I'm sure our patience will be rewarded in September when the event in Japan happens.

Over the last couple of years I always loved the idea of getting the DeLorean and Marty and Doc. But they were always just too expensive on the secondary market.

Now with a bit of luck getting all three from the OG BTTF could be a reality.

This is one of my favourite setups. Is that from anyone on here ? So classic !

Really hope a Delorean re-release is coming - I really want this entire set-up, just with the plutonium box added next to Doc....

That picture pushed me over the edge. If they release a DeLorean, its going to be tough to pass on the set...

I would imagine the HT would get more sales by releasing a BTTF2 DeLorean as opposed to rereleasing the first one, as they would get both existing owners and collectors who missed out on the 1st one. However, they might just take the lazy route if the engineering is too much of a challenge. When they teased V2 a few years ago I was initially ticked because I’d already gotten the original, but then figured I’d just display the second version in flight mode. Unfortunately that never came to fruition.
