Maybe this is a joke on Hot Toys part and when the "new" OC Batman/Bruce Wayne ships out it'll really be the ORIGINAL COSTUME 1989 Batman.
Just imagine cracking that baby open. "Can't wait, this Bruce Wayne sculpt is going to be amazing ............ WHAT. THE. ____?!

Like Hot Toys' old assembly sets.
I could see it now, a Batman Evolution kit figure. True Type buck with Keaton and Bale Batman options. That would make people fork enough over for two, maybe three just to display them both.

Remember back in the summer if 89 before the movie came out the amout of hype, and merch, that was all over the place...it was crazy. I hope they bring this out with an alternate HS of Keaton, but I'd settle for just Batman.

It was insane. For about a year before the film -- bat logo caps, t-shirts were everywhere. People were breaking into the theaters just to watch the trailer. It was a fun time. Never seen anything like that since. Not even Episode 1 had that kind of mass hysteria.

I was watching the Blu Ray the other day and it showed a lot of that stuff...the marketing was EVERYWHERE, it was a success before it was released...now im gonna watch this tonight and play with my TDK batman and pray the 89 come out

I've never witnessed a standing ovation in a cinema. I remember seated clapping at the end of Star Trek Generations in 1994 and seated clapping at the end of Phantom Menace. Nothing since.
