When are we likely to see pics of the Keaton Batman then? Is there another conference coming up or will Hot Toys just release the specs randomly one day?

There's a convention in Asia coming up soon, the Singapore Toy, Games & Comic Convention (STGCC) 2011 . This weekend as a matter of fact.

If it's anything like the Ani-Con though, I wouldn't expect much. SDCC has been the best so far when it comes to reveals.

Seems like the perfect opportunity to show some Metal Gear and Keaton Bats. If they'd blown their wad at SDCC and AniCon, then they'd really have no reason to attend the Singapore show.

My parents donated it to a used toy store about a decade ago. It apparently now costs close to $500 if you want to get your hands on one, so the way I see it my parents can buy me a Hot Toys Batmobile that will cost about the same

Wow those look awesome...that Batmobile stands up in my eyes. If I remember correctly I had the crappy Toy Biz Batman that had a yellow utility belt that pulled out and had a retractible string attached to it and Bats could use it like a grappling hook. I also had the color changing Joker...you had to hold his face under cold water to get it to work.

Kenner Batman Returns Batmobile goodness. I've kept mine in damn near mint condition and yes, one of those with a box and in mint condition would run about five hundred. Probably the same price as the HT one.

Yeah i have this entire line still in the packages. Not worth much but they are really nice figures.

I just watch this again the other day and started remembering all the figures from this line!

And besides, that Shadow-Wing Batman from the Dark Knight Collection was made by Kenner, so it was the same basic function and that copycat reuse that Kenner was so good at.
