I literally bought a Scarecrow by himself a few minutes ago, and this gif alone makes me kind of wish I had bought the 2-pack
How much did you shell out for the single scarecrow if you don't mind me asking. Looking for price ranges to see if I can even consider picking one up one day. don't really care for the demon bat.
$265 shipped. I've seen them get as low as $245ish, but they've fluctuated up a bit since late last week. I got outbid on a goodshipped auction last night that sold for $270ish, so I bought a BIN from another seller this morning. He probably won't ship as fast, but at least I know it is coming.
I just got an email from Toys2 saying my order was shipped. So I should have it by next week.
I think you got it mixed up. He is just on his way to go pick up his shipment today from the postal office ... I am going in an hour or so pic up my set .... damn did not manage to clean up my place for setting this up yet

Yeah, you're right - other than those two that sold for $350 (which the seller apparently backed out of, though you can't tell from Ebay's listing records), the lowest have been $390.
I've previously said that I thought $350 was a fair price and it would probably bottom out to that. But I've rethought things, and have come to the conclusion that a $350 price is (almost) never going to happen.
Let's assume the reports of the retail price at Toy Hunters are true ($260). Knowing that distribution has been restricted and that retailers won't be able to get them at a wholesale price (unlike the majority of HT releases), that's the base price. Almost all sales will take place on Ebay, which charges about 15% commission (between listing fees, selling fees, and Paypal fees), so the price goes up to ~$300. Add in international shipping for ~$50, and you've got your $350 price tag right there. Of course, I don't think a seller (who went to the trouble of picking these up from Toy Hunters at retail price) will want to sell without some sort of markup, and I think something like 10% is "fair." So you're looking at around $380-390 total for a minimum baseline price.
Given that, I don't think Toys2 price's are quite so bad as I previously thought (though there's no reason he shouldn't offer his customers cheaper shipping options if they want it - I'd rather wait a few days and save $20, and I'm sure I'm not the only one).
I've been tracking Ebay sales and prices and it looks like the average selling price has indeed plateaued at around $420 +/- $20 (standard deviation on the average). So you can find them for $390-400, but I'm not sure it'll come down more simply because I don't think sellers will agree to sell them at any lower a price (otherwise, they start to lose money).
I'll probably track final sale prices for a few more days, and if you guys really want to see some nerdiness, I might be willing to share some plots and math models with you.

You're right, some of the HK ebay sellers really are sketchy - some border on being scammers.
But a few of them are real good and honest. In particular, I've been impressed with Goodshipped and 7toys7. The language can be a bit of a barrier, but they've always been real eager to please and make things right when there's a problem.

I've used GoodShipped a no of times now & there always been great, my HT Spiderman is actually on order with them. Another one I use quite alot is AssaultRabbit. Good luck to all trying to get one of these, I've decided to pass because of the price & with so many other figures I want, I can't have everything I want unforntantly

Not right away, no. You might pick one up loose (no box) for that kind of price a year or so from now, when someone gets tired of theirs.
