So what do you guys think the going rate for these will be on ebay in the next few weeks? I'm so tempted...But really holding back due to the $550 price tag (cheapest i've seen for the set on ebay).

Yeah same here, i might be able to stretch to £300 but thats it. I'm not paying the £400 odd its going for on ebay. I dont have a time limit, i'm just eeping an eye out until i see something i can afford. There was a scarecrow with no bats on ebay yesterday for £150 buy it now but i was at work and by the time i went to check on it again it had sold. I thought that was a pretty good price. Just a case of keeping an eye out and your fingers crossed i guess.

I'm a healthy straight heterosexual male and I find Maggie's brother, Jake more attractive than she is. Hell, if Heath Ledger were still alive to day and I was paid millions (in Hot Toys figures) I'd definitely ____ him before Maggie.

He'd have to be in character as the Joker though, make up and all. Only. Way.

Oh to clarify. I was trying to be dramatic and pull this thread back inti the right direction but I have no guaranteed set either . I am just very high up on this list as I have asked for it at announcement and I buy exclusively from Eric (and he knows it) and I am getting worse at this addiction (and he knows it) and I almost never cancel my orders (and yes he knows that too). Heck I even buy stuff I did not intend but based on his recommendation and have yet to regret a single time (IM MI, Blade)

By that rationale EVERY actor is a "great actor" then. Jamie Kennedy is a great actor it's just the material in the movies EVERYONE lists as 'sucking' was at fault, and Jamie did the best he could with it. Right?

The reason the Ebay prices haven't dropped much more recently is because they've only been available, briefly, from one source, so the supply is still very much restricted (and has begun drying up again, it seems). Once they start showing up in the Hong Kong stores, as well as the Western stores (if stories about Toys2 are to be believed), the supply will be much greater than it has been - so we shouldn't expect prices to drop until then.

emceerice is the wish list the same thing as the wait list? I emailed him a little while back and asked and was put on the wish list. I know Geil is guaranteed one. Wonder who else is definitely getting one.

Yeah one in the same. Technically nobody is 'garunteed' one since he can't be sure of how many he will get. But he did say the ones he gets will go to the people on his list first.

If he is getting them, I'm fairly certain other retailers will too...I just choose to do business with Eric since he's been good to me.
