Just bought mine from T2. I've been buying from them for years and never a problem. Checked and they have 71 left.

My Scarecrow arrived today. Initial thoughts - love the head sculpt (sculpted was SO the right way to go) and paint apps are awesome as you would expect (those hoping to do a Crane will need a spare set of hands - the ones included in this set are very realistically dirty).
But this is a slightly strange release as far as HT goes. There is a lot of attention to detail in some parts (eg tiny blood vessels in the eyes) yet not in others (the little bit of hair poking out the back of the mask is the same colour as the mask itself). This extends to the costume - the straightjacket is great with posable wire running along the bottom of it and nicely weathered, yet the underlying suit is very ordinary. The amount of fabric around the head, combined with the mask sculpt means almost any movement will pop the head off (I haven't re-dressed him yet to see if that solves the problem), and the boots are a very hard rubber, meaning no ankle movement at all. There is a lot of extra fabric to try and stuff into these boots too, which will make undressing and re-dressing him a pain.
Am I glad he's there to add to my villains? Definitely, and there's no doubt that I would still buy him if I had to do it all over again, but it's definitely missing some of that attention to detail that HT normally provides.
Perhaps they did experiment and weren't happy with the results. I won't pretend you could be fooled that it was fabric, but I am very happy at the fine detail and scale-accurate folds, etc, they achieved.
After playing around with him a bit, I would definitely suggest those who want to display him with the straight jacket remove the shirt and tie. You can't see them with it on and it just puts an extra level of fabric in there that isn't needed. I'm getting much more reliable movement out of the neck now, and the straightjacket, which is obviously meant to be tight across the chest, fits better without the shirt under there
Edited to add: Those of you who love that "new toy smell" are going to LOVE this product!
Very true, the suit does look ordinary, but I don't see that as a negative myself. It's true to what he was wearing in Batman Begins.
I know some people may say that because of the price they would expect more, but from a plain grey suit what more exactly could we expect?
The tailoring and the fit both seem fine to me. With a small amount of futzing it looks really great on the shelf and fits in perfectly with the other HT figures.
Maybe this is why HT are reluctant to produce suited figures* because thay are underwhelming to most people.
Anyway, as with most things, I think they always look better in hand and that's certainly the case with Scarecrow for me.
* did I make that up, or have I read that somewhere before? I'm pretty sure I have lol
Hahah maybe - but also just comparing to HT's own products, like the Dent suit as I mentioned, it seems a little cheap looking! Anyway, if I get this it won't matter in the slightest, gonna be wearing the straightjacket

Holy crap, you really are an Old Grandpa! I had no idea.
Yeah, and really enjoying life retired and my grand kids. They think I'm cool cause I like 1/6 scale action figures.
Just checked with T2, they have 70 sets left.
Hey Maglor,
I've been a Batfreak since the 6th grade. (62 years ago) Used to draw the characters and tack them to my bedroom walls. My love for Firefly is alot more recent. Room for two loves in my life. I've bashed several Batman customs before I ever started on Firefly. (Did a Scarecrow on horseback)

Good to know. Sounds like what I (and others) did with the V1 Joker - took off the grey jacket so that the purple overcoat sits better.
Did you leave the suit coat on and only remove the shirt and tie?
Awesome!
Do you have a link for that Scarecrow custom?
Yeah, you have to - about 1" of the bottom of the suit jacket is clearly visible underneath the straightjacket.
Not yet. I'm working on a photo spread on my Batman bashes. As well as the Scarecrow on horseback, I've done Bruce Wayne on a motorcycle, Ra's Al Ghul in Ninja outfit, Police Joker (before HT's) Nurse Joker, Alfred Pennyworth, Commissioner Gordon, and Lucius Fox. I'm currently working on an Arkham Asylum Joker and Two Face playing checkers, and a Jim Carrey Riddler from Batman Forever.
