I don't think these were being produced a month or so apart, more like one long run and boxed up and shipped as inventory matched specific order numbers. With Alice already arriving in Asia, I wouldn't be surprised if HT was done with his run a while ago.

Maybe so, I just saw a bunch of video reviews on YouTube and some were done quite a while ago so I'm guessing they did a short run before the SSC NA run.

Like I said, I'm not concerned and anyone who ordered from SSC shouldn't be. If you got a lemon, they'll replace it so why whine?

What is Sideshow's warranty? Certainly not LIFE.

So are we all playing Chicken Little over that one spotty butt pic, or have there been other reports of problems?

So what happens if on the 31st day signs of deterioration begin to show? YOU'RE ____ED! :lol

Not True, i rang SSC and got a replacement Beast Comiquette book hand a few days after the warranty expired.

I dunno what i'm ultimatley gonna do about this yet, but either way for the moment i'm lad its ordered with SSC.

Y'know thinking about it now, there's only been that one set of pics, a couple of paint rub on the chest/abdomen and a couple of a manlged figure.

But my worries have mostly been from heresay about posing leading to cracking.

- the shiny butt cheek

- some guy that was rough with his figure had a terrible looking Batman (thought the codpiece and pants looked to have been faulty before he even started posing it).

- reports/pics of "deterioration" or paint rubs, though it could be something else. Posters didn't specify, I don't think it's a problem.

- Sellers on ebay have sold a ton of "Wrong" rubber Batman suit parts on ebay. They look like deteriorating factory dud rejects or something. The suits ended EXTREMELY cheap too. Like, less than 20 dollars cheap. (I found this one, only "proof" I've seen of bad quality)

Nada. Some tranny took picks of a shiny rubber buttocks that didn't show anything at all, and some dude who's taking horrible care of the figure had a hella dusty batman with paint flaking off the suit and a little brown poo stain between Batman's cheeks.

So a whole lotta nothing. That's what I figured.

Yep, basically.

However, I would keep a watch on this.

You know somethings wrong when a seller puts up a figure, listing it's faults and it goes for much less than what it usually does.

part of the body's coating already out ... so please look very

careful ... than take action to bid ... really worst coating body

:lol

I like how it's covered in dust and hair. Then again, I would never buy anything from an eBay seller with the name like mamabigbig! :lol

mamabigbig....? lmao. I guess the problem with this figure isn't a leaking issue, but rather that the coating can rub off if it's not handled carefully. Big deal. I never planned on giving my figure a butt massage, anyway.

you guys sure are a chatty bunch.

so 42 pages later...can someone tell me if this is a one-off or should i cancel my order?

This figures fine, I've had mine for a few weeks now & I can't see anything to worry about. If you cancelle your order on this you will probably seriously regret it because if you change your mind then this is going to cost you a lot of $$$ to buy from eBay.

Was the figure from 2008 coated in black vinyl paint?... I've never had such things on the figure but it troubles me (as in why does Hot Toys need to paint the suits now).

Besides that, the good thing is... it would be easy to repair that if such a thing happened. I'm eventually going to get a model spray painting kit, not for this, for car models. Finer control of the spray works best for detailing insets.

A good matte black type of paint that would bend could easily be re-sprayed.

It still boggles me why they are painting rubbers. As from the looks of those photos, obviously... that has been handled harshly. Quite a lot of thumb twist/force/pressure by the looks of it.

Photos taken on June this year. Bought 3 years ago.

As I'm sure you know, these really aren't toys. Collectibles aren't to be mistreated. Toys can.

I like how it's covered in dust and hair.

I detest that. That shows how manky of a person it is. Though however thats most likely dog or cat hair...

It's like the same when you see people's keyboards in photos with crumbs, grime and all that unhygienic mess. Disgusting filth.

Even still... what's a pet doing near a $200+ collectible to get hair all over it. The fourth photo looks like it's been sitting in a drawer for a year. Looks like it's stinking of plasticine, blu-tack and the likes. All the wonderful things kept in the man drawer.

I'm posting this vid again because some of you missed it and because... I friggin' felt like it. :lol

Anyway, good res vid. There were some crappy Bale pics posted somewhere earlier but in this vid you can really see the bale sculpt well and it blew me away...

Check around the 2:20 mark...
