Superman can store the energy in his body so at night it makes no difference unless of course to heal from a mortal wound. But he just has to get somewhere in the world where it is day to recharge.

I think this part of the problem with the character.

I think that's the reason it is so hard to make a Superman movie – Hulk is the same for Marvel. Being so powerful movies makers think the only way to make a movie with them is to have them fight somebody equally as powerful. For Superman, kryptonite was created to give him that vital achilles heel... and have to say in the fight with Batman, Snyder successfully showed Superman can be vulnerable.

I know the Doomsday storyline from the comics, and have to say that even then the ending surprised me – I just did not think they would go there... and the secret was kept very well, but for non-comic reading members of the audience I heard people shocked that he'd been killed!
Annoying though that i've heard many comments about how the Trailer reveal of Doomsday spoiled the film... hope these same people realise the reveal of Crossbones in the CW trailers is just as big a spoiler!

I loved Eisenberg in this, he portrayed a sociopathic, coked-up, millennial in an incredible way. I think it was an interesting, fresh take on the character.

Most likely they'll pull a Rey and announce it down the road, along with maybe battle-damage switch-outs. The last part may be asking a little too much of Hot Toys lol.

I also see that likely happening down the road, with regards to them pulling a Rey. Not sure if they'll do the interchangeable BD pieces, but they'll at least include a Kryptonite spear.
