I wouldn't expect it to get a figure just yet.

I like the look for Aquaman, a figure would look cool next to the big three.

As someone who worked on the film, do you feel the latest trailer gave too much away?

I personally don't think it did. With the exception of Doomsday (kind of, thanks to Shannon), it didn't show me anything that I didn't already know or wasn't already expecting.

Even showing a brief scene of Doomsday, I don't think is really giving anything away. It's nothing that any other superhero film trailer doesn't do, especially in later ones, by showing a brief shot of who the ultimate villain is.

Thank God

Given most the info was out their already not really. And it helps with early marketing. Studios learned with Star Trek into darkness that if a character leaks and you deny it over and over people get pissed about it. So might as well use it. Doomsday was going to leak anyway eventually as some of the CG and production art has leaked to media though not yet made it to the public. But it would have eventually. This takes that breaking news or scoop aspect out of it. And given the very long post production time on this film stuffs going to leak at some point. Around a year of just post alone on this already.

If it where me personally I wouldn't show anything. I wouldn't even do trailers. I wouldn't allow merch until the film drops. No prototypes shown at cons. But that isn't the best way to do it. It's just what I would do.

It's still coming as far as I know. I do not know about a bale figure. The case was teased in the Thor Aou shots released. Kinda like an Easter egg I guess. With toy soul coming in two weeks they are not sharing much at the moment..beyond "soon" and wait till/for/after "toy soul". Lol sorry I don't have anything better. I will ask about it specific and see if they have anything thing

It was obvious in the first trailer that the fight scenes towards end showed Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman fighting somebody or something else – Doomsday or a Bizarro/Doomsday type hybrid character were guessed at from the start, so the reveal wasn't a surprise at all... but that's what trailers do! Go watch the first Captain America trailer, or the first Iron Man one – they reveal far more than the second BvS trailer does... didn't hear anybody moaning about those!

I'm guessing Hot Toys will start unveiling figures that won't be spoilers at their Upcoming event. Based on what We know I'm planning on Batman regular and armor, Superman and Wonder Woman for certain. I'll have to see how dream sequence batman plays out but chances are I'll get it. I doubt I'd get Doomsday from the trailer, but holding out hope there will be an advanced version. Given that Aquaman might only be a brief scene or two I think if HT makes one it will be a TF special. But wouldn't be surprised if we don't see Aquaman until his solo movie or Justice League. Same for Cyborg. I'm not going to rule Luthor out. Will have to see how comes across in the movie.

Although I'm a Marvel fan I agree with you that the DC movies in general take a lot of flack that is partly undeserved. The problem the DC Cinematic Universe has is they haven't proven themselves to the fans yet while the Marvel Cinematic Universe has a proven track record and is extremely popular with the fans. Man of Steel was divisive--I was prepared to like it but I thought their take on Superman was misguided--but even worse from the fan perspective of bragging rights was that it didn't do as well as expected commercially. Guardians of the Galaxy, a nearly completely unknown property, made more money and got much better critical notices than Man of Steel. So unless and until the DCU knocks one out of the park--commercially at least, though it would be nice if critics and fandom also liked it--they're going to be enduring a lot of unnecessary negativity toward all of their projects in a damned if you do, damned if you don't vein. I liked the BvS trailer, I even liked what I saw of Eisenberg's Luthor. I especially liked Gadot as Wonder Woman. Although I'm more emotionally invested by far in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War because I've lived with those characters for seven years now and I love that group of actors in these roles, I've actually watched the BvS trailer many more times than the Civil War trailer.

You DC guys are going to have to hang in there awhile and hope BvS is awesome, that Affleck and Gadot are awesome in it, and it makes its 1.5 billion. If that all happens you should see the tone of internet commentary changing and a lot less nitpicking.

I can't believe they would release the case and not a figure to go inside of it. Who would buy it without the figure? Only people who already have an extra Batman that they don't know what to do with.

A definitive Bale figure is needed.

Never going to happen.

I hope they have abandoned the idea altogether and just focus on BvS. The Dark Knight Armory feels like it just came out and it's still in stock everywhere along with the Blake/Gordon/signal.

Johnny Utah . . .

Use Hot Toys Ben Kenobi and Han Solo, with custom clothing and glasses. That's about what Hot Toys would give us anyway. :lol
